[ There's a brief beat of nothing before the image focuses on a goat with really big horns that appears to be...eating rubble. It is, in fact, taking large bites out of rocks and chewing it slowly as it stares at the camera (or the person holding the magitech) balefully.

and then the camera switches to Loki, though the goat is still visible in the background. It really is a very, very large goat. like, bear-sized goat. ]

Yes, good job, congratulations, and well done to all of us, I'm sure. And as our efforts to rebuild continue, I would like to point out that someone seems to have misplaced their, ah, pet. If this one is anything at all like the ones I was once familiar with, I would caution any and all who might come across it to take care.

[ As he speaks, the goat has wandered over, and is now trying to take a bite out of Loki's hair. ]

[ Loki shoves it away, and the goat glares at him again, Loki glaring right back, before it belches out a small plume of fire. Luckily, there's nothing flammable in the immediate vicinity and it goes back to chewing grumpily on more stones. ]

Thor. Odinson. Come retrieve this ridiculous creature before I rend its flesh from its bones and enjoy it for dinner.

Ah, it's a sad day indeed when even a goat will not be properly intimidated by the might of Loki.

Goats are not known for their intelligence.

[ He'll arch an eyebrow, as he considers Loki's initial words. ]

Nor do I have a use for dinner.

Pity. Could I interest you in a drinking horn, then?

[ He'll make a show of thinking about this deeply. ]

Perhaps. I would have more use for a drinking horn. What would you suggest that I drink out of it?

[ It's not as if living with the Arameri had given him much experience with drinking horns and their uses. ]

Wine, naturally. Ale, if it suits your taste. Mead, if you've the means to obtain it.

[ He'll shrug. ] I may be able to obtain some. Loki seems intent on removing as much mead from Odin's cellars as possible.

[mistruths]

Wasn't that the Odinson's job?

I wouldn't know.

[ The less he knows about family issues, the better. Even if that means pretending to know less than he actually does. ]

Pity. Well, there are horn for the taking, should you care to come retrieve it.

Ah, but what if I begin a trend? There could be goat horns everywhere soon enough.

[ The delivery is perfectly deadpan, but he can't help but look a little amused. ]

No, no, you'll most certainly be one of a few. After all, how many goats do you see walking these halls?

I make it a point to never count farm animals.

Because there's so many of them milling about?

No, because it's pedestrian and implies more contact with animals than I am comfortable with.

[ There is a high possibility here that he's being flippant. ]
