Yo~. Since we're expected to hand over reports to be graded by the end of the week and not be arrested, Tachibana and I are leaving town to take a field trip and look around.

Figured I'd say something in case someone's looking for us [ stranger things have happened ] or if we don't come back. If the latter happens don't bother looking for us because it means we're dead.

[ It's fair to note that while he definitely doesn't sound like he's kidding about the last part (because he isn't) he's also not at all expecting that to be even remotely possible. They're pretty resilient in their ability to survive even the most unfortunate of things. ]

Anyone need or want something from out there? [ like a souvenir from the faerie tribe's local gift shop or something... he doesn't know, okay. do you realize how desperately bored he is to be willing to wander around scouting landscape in the freakin' dark, he's going stir-crazy. ]

Someone kindly keep us informed while we're gone, too? [ he is actually very seriously expecting all the fun stuff to happen while they're out. ]

[ Tbh she'll do it even if he objects--it's more of a heads up that she might be living in his stuff while he's away. Sorry Masa, but the thought of Sieglinde all alone in that room without anyone to help just...irks her, though she doesn't fault him the desire to roam a bit. ]

Although Kida now brings up a good point needing addressing. ] ...I probably should combine looking for a bigger space for her while at it. But it might have to be a whole barn to buy enough time before she overcrowds it and her amassed collection unanimously decides the place isn't big enough for both of them, nevermind anything or anyone else.

[ good thing she doesn't do minion science, they might wind up having to save the city from disgruntled and hostile ducks unsatisfied with their status in this place... ]

She needs a workshop, agreed. Perhaps she might be persuaded to sell her products or services to the apothecary? Then she could rent a second room...

Work some magic on her while I'm gone in the convincing of this. I think she'll like it better hearing it from your mouth than mine.

You sure? Because we'll at least do that much without needing to ask.

[ The things she wants to remember about Chantes aren't its rocks, it leaves, its wildlife--they are the ruddy faces of its people, the sound of its music, the feeling of its cobblestones beneath her feet. Masamune can't deliver her that.

Well, I meant once the sun was back and everything was nice and grand but I won't say no to time spending and a spar.
