Yo~. Since we're expected to hand over reports to be graded by the end of the week and not be arrested, Tachibana and I are leaving town to take a field trip and look around.

Figured I'd say something in case someone's looking for us [ stranger things have happened ] or if we don't come back. If the latter happens don't bother looking for us because it means we're dead.

[ It's fair to note that while he definitely doesn't sound like he's kidding about the last part (because he isn't) he's also not at all expecting that to be even remotely possible. They're pretty resilient in their ability to survive even the most unfortunate of things. ]

Anyone need or want something from out there? [ like a souvenir from the faerie tribe's local gift shop or something... he doesn't know, okay. do you realize how desperately bored he is to be willing to wander around scouting landscape in the freakin' dark, he's going stir-crazy. ]

Someone kindly keep us informed while we're gone, too? [ he is actually very seriously expecting all the fun stuff to happen while they're out. ]

You better not. How long we you thinking of heading out for? These will work if you travel, won't they? So you can let us know if something happens?

It'll depend if we find anything interesting, I think, but we're planning on being back by the meeting next week.

As far as I know, these are supposed to work outside of town, but if they suddenly don't, then that's worth finding out in itself, I'd say.

I suppose, that would be useful to know. I mean, I figure if they work here and across worlds it might be fine, but.

[She just doesn't want to think of something happening and anyone not being able to call for help if and when they need it. Still, he's not wrong though. Knowing if there are limits or boundaries where these wouldn't work would also be useful.]

You'll be back in time for the meeting though? I hope you will.

We will. Anything we find out, we'll want to be there to tell everyone else about, right?

Ah, right! And even if you don't find anything, this way we'd all know either way.

[She'd rather be positive, that something comes from this trip no matter what they might come across.]

I'm sure either way, it would give us some more answers. Sort of. I guess for now there's nothing for it but to wait. I hope you both stay safe though!
