Yo~. Since we're expected to hand over reports to be graded by the end of the week and not be arrested, Tachibana and I are leaving town to take a field trip and look around.

Figured I'd say something in case someone's looking for us [ stranger things have happened ] or if we don't come back. If the latter happens don't bother looking for us because it means we're dead.

[ It's fair to note that while he definitely doesn't sound like he's kidding about the last part (because he isn't) he's also not at all expecting that to be even remotely possible. They're pretty resilient in their ability to survive even the most unfortunate of things. ]

Anyone need or want something from out there? [ like a souvenir from the faerie tribe's local gift shop or something... he doesn't know, okay. do you realize how desperately bored he is to be willing to wander around scouting landscape in the freakin' dark, he's going stir-crazy. ]

Someone kindly keep us informed while we're gone, too? [ he is actually very seriously expecting all the fun stuff to happen while they're out. ]

I don't know. I've just never really actually traveled a lot back home or anything, so this sort of thing isn't something I have a lot of experience with. And I'm just eleven.

[Surely there are more experienced elder people you can recruit or something.]

[ he laughs but it's a good natured laugh at the very least. the honesty is endearing especially as someone who knows a girl of similar age back home with the exact opposite presentation. Still, he's found them both to be quite capable of achieving what they wish, regardless if they need a little assistance or not. ]

All right, all right, not to worry. I'll find someone else, you stay tight. [ he actually won't look for someone else, that's silly considering he had been trying to make her feel perfectly capable and welcome to join if she wanted. ]

I'm curious about what's out there too! I just...I figure it best if I stay here and do what I can to try help with everything.

[The fighting, the sun. Their mission. As interesting and unique an experience as being on other worlds is. They are here for a reason. As much as she might want to explore. As much as she still does want to help him.]

[ It's cute she really wants to do the responsible thing while trying not to potentially make anyone feel she doesn't want to help them?! what a responsible kid ;^; sorry he has to tease you Sakura you don't deserve it... ]

We'll let you know if there's anything cool out here that you need to come see for yourself. [ he doubts it but ... No sense being pessimistic about the possibilities. A short pause before adding: ] I was kidding about the first part, by the way. [ well he figured the date thing was obvious but maybe not the handling rejection thing... Since he doesn't feel rejected. Maybe he should just shut up he's already been a jerk with the dying comment... ]
