Hello, Audentes. For those of you I have yet to meet, my name is Lucina. I come bearing news.

I have spoken to a Zymandis agent. They are here, alone, and the jewelcomms are what notified her to our presence; she was willing to answer my questions, and in return, asked the same of me. The following is what I learned:

They seem believe that the Timeline is ill; the multiverse no longer has the energy to sustain itself, and will eventually meet its demise. Given this, their mission is to destroy everything, so that the Timeline will be reborn stronger. [ Those familiar with her should know there's a certain level of anger in her tone, text or otherwise. ] At least, this is what their Timeline.exe has told them— not only so, the original Timeline.exe, as well as its "update", were created by the same individual: Theodor Arbatel, their "Leader".

If anything requires clarification, I will try my best to answer them.

Ragnarok was a cycle. Living, dying, rebirth; living, dying, rebirth; living, dying, rebirth.....
I couldn't tell you how many times it happened.

Just that it was a cage.
That the gods would have rather died completely than continue to repeat the same cycle.

Do you think this has happened before? Or should we be acting to prevent it FROM happening?

Whether it has or it hasn't, I don't think that matters. [ that's such a mortal thought. ]
We should be free to change for ourselves, and not leave matters up to the constant patterns of the universe.
Ragnarok continued until we saw it for what it was. Then it stopped. It was hard, but it stopped.

It matters because they can argue that it worked before.

But maybe they can say it worked and it doesn't matter.

Do you think this is the same thing?

"Worked" is very subjective.
I would hope they'd come up with a better argument to sustain their stance beyond that.

That's why I'm asking Lucina how they're acquiring members. It sounds like she doesn't, but it's time to find that out.

There's not much that we do know about them, especially not the intricacies of their organization.

Knowing what they're being pitched is important. I didn't second guess ALASTAIR when they told me what they were doing.

I've died to stop less. I'm not about to let the entire multiverse die just for a restart that sounds like a bad way to do things.
