Hello, Audentes. For those of you I have yet to meet, my name is Lucina. I come bearing news.

I have spoken to a Zymandis agent. They are here, alone, and the jewelcomms are what notified her to our presence; she was willing to answer my questions, and in return, asked the same of me. The following is what I learned:

They seem believe that the Timeline is ill; the multiverse no longer has the energy to sustain itself, and will eventually meet its demise. Given this, their mission is to destroy everything, so that the Timeline will be reborn stronger. [ Those familiar with her should know there's a certain level of anger in her tone, text or otherwise. ] At least, this is what their Timeline.exe has told them— not only so, the original Timeline.exe, as well as its "update", were created by the same individual: Theodor Arbatel, their "Leader".

If anything requires clarification, I will try my best to answer them.

So their idea of fighting entropy on a global scale, is by hastening its process, and thus reaching the inevitable destruction quicker? Either none of them see how absurd this reasoning is, or they just want an excuse to see the world burn.

That appears to be the case.

She has compared it to that of predator hunting prey — by culling out the weak, the pack of prey are able to grow stronger. They believe it will be the same case for the Timeline, as a whole. [ She's trying to remain unbiased about this, resisting to add an "it's absurd" at the end there. ]

That, or they're thinking the sacrifice of the many for the sake of the few as opposed to the eventual demise of all worlds is a preferable outcome.

If they're correct, than is that really an unreasonable response?

There was a voice in her jewelcomm that provided me the name, which seemed to address Theodore Arbatel as though he is still alive. [ By calling him pompous. But you know, details. ]

That regardless of what their mission is, they have no right to destroy the homes of others. Let alone spill innocent blood.

They seem to have a stricter system of authority than us. She mentioned she follows the orders of her supervisors, and asked for my "rank". A sacrifice for the greater good.

Well, I suppose the show is always more palatable with a black and white version of good vs. evil. I don't think anyone was losing sleep wishing to hear Zymandis' side of the story, but hey. After dearest-Percy, it's nice to know we can move on without feeling bad for canceling any redemption arcs on their end.

I have seen individuals fight for less noble causes, but... nothing ever to this scale.

Whatever they ordered, she would do. [ As for obeying Zymandis— she wants to say no, but she doesn't know how much of that she believes. ]
