Hello, Audentes. For those of you I have yet to meet, my name is Lucina. I come bearing news.

I have spoken to a Zymandis agent. They are here, alone, and the jewelcomms are what notified her to our presence; she was willing to answer my questions, and in return, asked the same of me. The following is what I learned:

They seem believe that the Timeline is ill; the multiverse no longer has the energy to sustain itself, and will eventually meet its demise. Given this, their mission is to destroy everything, so that the Timeline will be reborn stronger. [ Those familiar with her should know there's a certain level of anger in her tone, text or otherwise. ] At least, this is what their Timeline.exe has told them— not only so, the original Timeline.exe, as well as its "update", were created by the same individual: Theodor Arbatel, their "Leader".

If anything requires clarification, I will try my best to answer them.

Continue as we are, until we find a way to meet in the middle, because that's the best case scenario. If our new Zymandis friend doesn't want to harm us, then perhaps the rest of her people are more reasonable than Percy-san, and can be talked to.

We don't entirely believe in ALASTAIR's rhetoric, after all- at least not all of us. We accept it because it's convenient and because Zymandis is too extreme in the other direction, but as recruits we stand somewhere in the middle between destruction and salvation.

Speaking to them is different from trying to compromise with them. I admit, I can't imagine the organization being keen on listening to those who have already deserted them in the past.

By that logic, we make good middlemen! We were never properly recruited after all. Hopefully, they'll believe that...

Unfortunately, I can't help but doubt that. [ If it looks like an ALASTAIR agent, carries around jewelcomms, and stops as many of their plans—

It's probably an ALASTAIR agent. ]

True, true. In the meantime, I do hope no one is planning to cause harm to the Zymandis agent on principle.

I have faith in our team. [ Maybe a bit too much, who knows. ]

I'd like to, Lucina-san- really I would. But... We all remember Percy-san...

I would feel more comfortable if someone kept a close eye on her- for that reason and other reasons.

Percy deserved to die. [ Whoops. ] On the other hand, she has not done anything to harm us — and we have never been bloodthirsty.

I won't deny that.

[Technically, he wouldn't deny either- she's right about both things, but he didn't make it this far by blind faith alone.] There's still the chance she might do something. I don't think she actively means us harm or she would have had plenty of opportunities to make her move, but harm isn't the worst she could cause us.

I agree — the possibility cannot be discounted. Yet if something were to happen to any one of us, we would know who to ... speak with, first. I'm certain she realizes this as well. [ Regardless of what happens, she'll still be out numbered. ]

Don't discount the value of what information she can gather on us as well- we're still thorns in Zymandis's side, even if we're easily dealt with by their standards.
