It would only be theorizing on the entirely unknown. I don't think there's any point in doing that. All we can reliably guess at this point is that it'll be worse in there than out here. So, we'll just have to stick together and do our best not to let the length and uncertainty of this mission get us down too badly. Try to maintain some optimism, no matter how hard it is, and be active rather than passive.

You and Hayame seem way ahead of the rest of us in that regard.

Just how fast do we all plan to trek to this other area? We could probably spare at least a few hours at the lake. Maybe half a day tops.

We have been operating in small units so far, why not continue the trend? We could set up a new base beside this lake, and forage deeper into the maze from here, as scouting parties.

Fishi-- I'm afraid I've never fished before in my life. I don't know if I'd be of much help, in that regard. I have been focused on securing our path and eliminating dangers.
