I know we're all very tired of this maze and whatever might be waiting for us once we get to the end, but it didn't feel right not to show you all this.

[The magitek shows one of the walls of the maze where an engraved bull's head stands out. Yeah.] I thought this might have been a bit of gallows humor from some of the previous inmates, but it's a reoccurring motif throughout the maze around here.

[A dry chuckle as he turns to face the camera, hatless and exhausted looking. Goddamn he misses his hat.] And if you're not up on your Greek mythology... Well, let's just say this situation could get even more frustrating. It's a shame Achilles-san has left us- perhaps he might have appreciated this in an odd sort of way.

You haven't heard the myth about Theseus and the labyrinth?

Nope. No such story exists in Runeterra. What's that gotta do with minotaurs?

We~ell. In the story, there was a minotaur in the middle of the labyrinth that Theseus had to slay. It sounds familiar, doesn't it?

[Hint: We are all Theseus.]

All right. Why the in hell we gotta slay a minotaur? Just 'cuz we were told to?

Not that I got stomach or anythin', but minotaurs don't tend to be on my list of people I worry about.

Because it will probably eat us if we don't.

Now I know you're messin' with me. They don't eat humans -- hell, minotaur don't even eat meat!

I suppose that makes more sense than a ravenous half-human, half-bull creature, since bulls don't eat flesh, but Greek myths aren't known for following any sort of logic.

And I doubt we'll find a peaceful commune of minotaurs at the end of the maze, unfortunately.

Well, maybe it's a difference of worlds, but minotaur are generally peaceful, law-keepin' guardians where I'm from. I'd probably trust them more quickly than a human stranger.

But I'll keep it in mind. Not all things are the same across worlds, obviously.
