I know we're all very tired of this maze and whatever might be waiting for us once we get to the end, but it didn't feel right not to show you all this.

[The magitek shows one of the walls of the maze where an engraved bull's head stands out. Yeah.] I thought this might have been a bit of gallows humor from some of the previous inmates, but it's a reoccurring motif throughout the maze around here.

[A dry chuckle as he turns to face the camera, hatless and exhausted looking. Goddamn he misses his hat.] And if you're not up on your Greek mythology... Well, let's just say this situation could get even more frustrating. It's a shame Achilles-san has left us- perhaps he might have appreciated this in an odd sort of way.

It makes one feel a lot bigger than you'd think this situation would allow, doesn't it? Most people look at the expanse of the universe and feel tiny.

If they really wanted to make us work for it, they would introduce a Gorgon.

And we feel as if our world may not be so singular after all... if we remain more cynical, I suppose. Those with larger egos will think themselves the sun around which others orbit.

I do wonder if Anakin-san ever made it back to Oska... It seems fruitless to even hope for a rescue before we get into something even more complicated, but he went through all that trouble...

I cannot imagine he has done so unless ALASTAIR made contact with him... he would not know where to go out in space, but. Perhaps he was able to clear the field of whatever was dampening our magitech.
