[The magitek isn't pointed at Urahara, but rather filming the area around him, but even if the username didn't give him away, the lilting overly exciteable terrier voice of his does.]
Good morning, everyone~
I know we're all very tired of this maze and whatever might be waiting for us once we get to the end, but it didn't feel right not to show you all this.
[The magitek shows one of the walls of the maze where an engraved bull's head stands out. Yeah.] I thought this might have been a bit of gallows humor from some of the previous inmates, but it's a reoccurring motif throughout the maze around here.
[A dry chuckle as he turns to face the camera, hatless and exhausted looking. Goddamn he misses his hat.] And if you're not up on your Greek mythology... Well, let's just say this situation could get even more frustrating. It's a shame Achilles-san has left us- perhaps he might have appreciated this in an odd sort of way.

And if the lizards had acid blood, who knows what other kind of mutations might exist.

[ the message stands alone for a few seconds. whether ironic or genuine makes no difference. ]
I'm still not convinced that what we'll find is organic. Or entirely organic.
Guess we'll have to wait and see.

[he doesn't need more robots in his life.]

A living creature, even a monstrous one, has to eat, sleep. It can feel pain and fear. It can be distracted. It can get sick. It ages. Those are a lot of variables that need to be controlled.
Contrasted with something that can be programmed to do whatever is needed and requires minimal upkeep. And it's not as if the technology is lacking. If they've built all this…
[ a pause between messages. ]
Or we really are facing a cross between a bull and a squid.

You're not wrong. The level of technology here negates even certain types of physics, much less magic and brute strength. In fact, if it weren't for the lizards, the complete lack of actual living creatures would be a tip-off.
[he taps his chin thoughtfully.] Though acid blood does seem to be an unusual trait for a completely flesh and blood creature. It's likely otherworldly biology, but I didn't get a chance to dissect any.

Be careful what you wish for.
[ the maze might just offer that next opportunity. ]
