I know we're all very tired of this maze and whatever might be waiting for us once we get to the end, but it didn't feel right not to show you all this.

[The magitek shows one of the walls of the maze where an engraved bull's head stands out. Yeah.] I thought this might have been a bit of gallows humor from some of the previous inmates, but it's a reoccurring motif throughout the maze around here.

[A dry chuckle as he turns to face the camera, hatless and exhausted looking. Goddamn he misses his hat.] And if you're not up on your Greek mythology... Well, let's just say this situation could get even more frustrating. It's a shame Achilles-san has left us- perhaps he might have appreciated this in an odd sort of way.

Mm. No patterns. [Well. And now he knows who was on Team Goddess Killer back on Nalawi. He was wondering about that.]

Though I'm sure there's more to it than we know. Keeping the story in mind may be helpful, but ultimately we can't base our entire strategy on it.

[Oh, Giovanni's always on Team Kill unless there's someone around to talk him out of it. Despite that he'd disliked what happened on Nalawi, thought they shouldn't have got involved at all. Should have let the people of that world come to their own decisions-- he knows what he would have done, had some alien team shown up to kill his 'goddess'. But that's rarely something he speaks about, and right now--]

No doubt. Things are rarely ever straightforward, particularly not with this team. Hahah.

[They always seem to want to go the convoluted route, around instead of straight through.]

We're predictable in our lack of predictability, anyway. It finally seems to be working out for us.

Oh of course, of course. I'm merely speculating that our odds are good. We're not the type to accept a failure when it involves loss of life.

Well. I suppose we've made it this far with relatively little of that.

[Which strikes him as odd, sometimes, how they've managed to avoid any major casualties so far, despite how fragile some of their members are. And so perhaps Urahara has a point.]
