[ Surprisingly cheery greeting, but why not, right? He's been eager to make this post for a while, but now that he has the time... ]

So there's lots of folks here who have been here for a while. That's cool and all. Power to you, folks! Had a question. How do you know when it's a birthday? You see, I have a friend! And I think his birthday's coming up soon. A lot of people here are friends with him, so I was thinking of doing something nice.

[ Not that he has much to do with, he's been running around like a headless chicken for a while now. ]

Maybe like a little get together? Cake? Can we get cake that's not made of lizard flesh here? I'd like that. I can't bake... or we could just get hamburgers... Iggy will be so mad but it's Noct's birthday, man [ That last bit is removed. ]

How do you guys do it? What's the best spot to have a little party 'round here? Let me know? Please?! I only have three days!!

I guess... but you know, I never had a birthday party until I met Noct. And that was... way until I got into high school, you know? So I figure, why waste time! You gotta take what you can get and enjoy it!

[ He pauses then. ]

Oh, that? That's a chocobo! He's a ... I guess you could say a horse-bird? You can ride it! Only not that one. He's too little. But that's a mascot! Noct and I have the real thing here, too! Ever seen one?

[ chocobos, she has decided, are safer conversation than birthdays. ]

Who's Noct? Is it his birthday you're celebrating?

Woah, then you gotta get a load of this!

And Noct is my best buddy!! He's here too, and he's a real sulkyface when he gets woken up early. Which is why I gotta make sure this party is gonna be one he'll like!

It's so cute and big! And they're sturdy rides, too! Get us everywhere cars don't!

[ Rey. That's a cute name. Kinda like Noct's VA, who he doesn't know about. Though her words make her react quickly. ]

Oh he doesn't hate parties. He's just super shy?? Bet if I walked up with a pretty cake, he'd forget all of that to pig out!! You've had cake at least, haven't you?

True.. hope they don't spring one on us in the next two days. I'd hate to not have his party. This Loki dude suggested pitching a tent for him! That'd be awesome! Camp-like birthday!!

So, uh, Rey, what kinda birthday would you like if you could pick?

I don't know. I haven't thought about it before. Is it usually parties?

Nah, sometimes people just hang out together some place. Go get some dinner, or play around at an arcade. Simple stuff! Noct and I did that around my birthday once...

So you gotta think up one for yourself! Come on, try it!

That sounds like it's just the same as any other day, then. What about it being a birthday makes it special?

Making sure that everything is what the birthday boy, or gal, likes, of course! It's their day, so they get treated. They don't have to pay or anything either! That'd totally cheer me up, you know!

[ Considering how broke he is all the time. ]

Of course, if I got to spend the day with my Goddess of Gears, I'd never ask for anything ever again...
