It's Arthur's — you may have spoken to him, if you attended the Order meeting, but if you haven't, he still looks very familiar. He's been at the scene of nearly every shocking event, decidedly un-shocked. There's a reason for that.]

Hello. My name is Arthur, and I speak to you today representing the Order of the Chimera. I've tracked down one of your own who has graciously allowed me to contact you all.

You're likely aware that some of your people are being detained by the guard on charges of treason. This is due in no small part to the Order meeting they were present at. My people have been taken, too. I understand you may oppose the Order, but in this instance, I believe it would benefit us all to work together to free them.

[He pauses for a moment.]

If freeing your companions isn't motivation enough, my brother is in custody as well. Although I hear the guard has invented a barrier to absorb magic, I have no doubts he will eventually escape. However, the longer he is kept, the greater his retribution will become. [Gravely:] If you value the safety of the people of Chantes, or even your own, I suggest you join the cause.

There is little time. We infiltrate the prison tomorrow, regardless of the risks. I assure you the damage will be much greater should Michel grow even angrier.

[ olivia only gets more embarrassed, tbh. that gentle question, while considerate, only highlights the fact that she'd let such hasty thoughts get transmitted to the rest of the crew. ]

I was afraid you'd say that, though... I really don't know how much help I'd be in any of that.

( It's not hard for Hawke to hear how anxious her--conversation partner?--teammate is, so she laughs, hoping to put her at ease a bit. )

Not a problem! These blighted things should've come with a warning label. Reading someone's thoughts like that is rather rude, not to mention broadcasting them. Horrible. I would give them a piece of my mind but there may be children here. ( she sighs a little. ) Be that as it may, are you perhaps a healer?

I-It is pretty embarrassing, [ olivia agrees, though it's funny that she would consider it more embarrassing than a breach of privacy. clearly it's her fault somehow! ] I guess I just have to work harder to be better at it...

I have a vial of healing concoction with me from my world, but that's about as much as I can do in regards to healing... I-I'm just a performer, not a soldier...!

I wouldn't worry about it. It seems as though you just need to speak with your voice.

( Sometimes it is hard to realise how hard this is for others. )

I see. In that case, save that if you can, I think it might be precious. There some of us who can heal, but I don't think I've seen any other performers yet. The distraction and joy in a good performance can provide it's own relief.

[ if hawke could see her right now, she'd find a shy but genuine smile on olivia's lips.

I sure hope so... I-It's really all I can do for anyone at this point.

( a little, and she smiles herself. it's a good feeling to realise she's helped even just a titch. )

I'm sure it will be helpful in it's way. Who doesn't like a good performance? Though--what kind of a performer are you?

Oh, I'm a dancer!

[ she looks quite proud of that for a moment, and then, within a few seconds, seems to remember something and deflates a bit... ]

Well — not a very good one, to be honest, but I've been part of a theater group for as long as I can remember.

Well, a dancer! ( it's been awhile since she's seen one, let alone a whole group. ) If you've been doing this your entire life, I'd be happy to wager that you're not that bad. I doubt your group is run like a charity.

Well... no, not really. [ but it wasn't as if they kicked people out, either. ] But we were all pretty much like family — and some of us actually were, hehe.

Sounds like a family business. ( the tone of her voice shifts, lightened momentarily by a memory that has risen. she was always fond of the travelling circuses and groups who set up in Lothering. that's a part of her childhood she hasn't thought for a while. ) Even if you weren't all family! But I'm sure you're good enough that you can bring someone relief with a performance. It's maybe in your blood. And if not that, it's who you are? You don't seem to dislike it, at least.

Oh, I love dancing. [ it's not hard to see just how much, too; even in her voice alone, there's so much passion she might as well burst from it. ] It's my favorite way to communicate, and I love practicing, and performing, and coming up with new routines...!

[ she pauses suddenly, as if realizing how embarrassing she's being. ]

B-But I wouldn't want to bother anyone, either... Maybe once things settle down...

( she wasn't wrong, at least. hawke is glad to listen to olivia enthuse in such a way, it's a privilege to share someone's passion like this. )

I guess it is a way to communicate, isn't it? I hadn't thought of it like that. I've learnt something already.

I don't think it would be a bother when there's time for it. It seems some of us--hopefully--will need to lay low for a while shortly.

Heh, I suppose you're right... I'd hate to make it any easier to find those people, but if it'll be a welcome distraction, I'll do anything.

Well, it is always night here, so it's not like we'll be too hard-pressed to find some cover at least. ( still, it is a good point. ) Did you learn any other kind of performance arts in your troupe?

Oh, there was a fair bit of singing and acting, too! We were very versatile.

The complete package, eh? ( she laughs a bit. ) I guess acting would make a fair amount of noise, too. ...Well, maybe dancing would be best, after all! That's more about watching than listening, yeah? Though I've known a patient or two who could've used a good lullaby.

A patient? [ her ears perk up a bit. ] Are you a healer in your world?

Sort of. ( she smiles a little bit, though she can perform healing magic, she's not really what she would consider a 'proper healer'. there are many more who are more skilled, more able, than she is, with a much better bedside manner. ) I know some healing magic, and a little about basic injuries. The kinds you have to patch up often if you've got a rambunctious little brother.

[ she giggles a little, the sound soft and melodic. ]

That still sounds like a really useful skill to have! All I've got on me is my Concotion...

( at such a pleasant sound, it's hard not to smile herself. for the moment her own words are lighter. )

It is, provided there's the right circumstances. I can't fight and heal at the same time, unfortunately. Concoction? What kind?

I guess it's a good thing there are so many of us, then! That way, we can all have each other's backs...

[ there's some shifting on the other end as olivia withdraws her vial from her pouch, looking it over. ]

I had it on me when I suddenly found myself here... Back home, this is one of the potions used to heal people when they were injured or cursed.

Just so. You can achieve a lot more than you ever thought if you've got even a small number of companions.

You too? Do you remember what you were doing before--this? Waking up, hallucinating, whatever it was exactly. ( she sounds a bit irritated; a part of her wants to complain about being kidnapped, but she can't exactly say that she was. she was just here. ) Cursed? Like jynxed? I'm curious if it might be something like the potions back home. The healing bit certainly is.

I'm — Gosh, I can't even really remember... I must have been in my room, back at Regna Ferox... Oh, I remember I'd just finished cooking dinner for Khan Basilio's men! I definitely found myself here smelling like spices, hehe.

But I mean cursed, like from mages!
