I have discovered some information of importance that may aid us going forward.

As it turns out, our terrorists are not affiliated with the colors they wear. I was able to determine that they acted alone, without the instruction of the Empress of the Crashing Wave.

I believe an unknown third party may be attempting to escalate tension in order to incite civil war between the clans.

Undetermined. Whomever they were, they were smart enough to draw ire to the Sea Clan, rather than attack under their own banner.

...if you're right, then we need to warn the Sea Clan immediately.

Somebody could attack them posing as the Mountain Clan next.

Our only proof has been taken by the Mountain Clan guards. I do not suspect marching over there now crying wolf will help matters.

Well -- we have to do something! If somebody's trying to start a war, then they're every bit as vulnerable as the festival was! They're in danger, right now!

If you have a plan that does not involve exposing our position, I am certain the rest of us would love to hear it.

[Ah geez, now he's on the spot.]

I....don't know, show them proof of the attack here or something, so they at least know to be on their guard!

Putting them on high alert will only make our task more difficult.

[tormado]

[He wants to argue with that, but logically he knows he can't can't. It'd be enough for him to just prevent another attack and more people getting hurt like at the festival, but he gets the feeling that's not enough to sway this guy.]

Hayame is going to make efforts to gauge some of the Mountain Clan's opinion on their current Empress. I believe our next step should be to slip into the Sea Clan's territory and attempt the same.

Should things begin to escalate, it would be prudent to know where we should stand.

[tormado]

...alright. That sounds good. [If they're in the Sea Clan's territory, at least they can try to avert another attack if it happens like it did here.]

What about the Flowerlands? D'you know if anybody's gotten an idea of which way they're leaning?
