[Sometime after the Escort Missions are completed, Alucard speaks up on the network, sounding weary.]

I loathe to ask this of any of you, though I respect any who wish to decline my request. If you accept, know that I am incredibly grateful for it.

I require a bit of blood, if you have it. I know not all of you do. I will not accept it from someone who is ill.

Should you wish an explanation, or have further questions, I will answer them. I am open to discussing on methods of bloodletting if you would consider to donate it to me.

Always figured they were a myth, kind of like Lamia. [ he sighs. ] Don't know why I'm even surprised, given what this place is.

There are all manners of beings here. Technically, I am only half a vampire from my father's side.

[ it's just going to be easier if bellamy takes everything at face value without trying to think too hard about it. that's the tactic. that's how he's going to lessen his permanent headache. ]

So, being half-vampire means what? Less blood ... sucking?

It means many things, but I'm afraid that is not precisely one of them.

[ bellamy acts like he gets it ... but he doesn't. mythological creatures, man. ]

Okay. So what does it mean?

To what benefit would it bring to explain the differences between myself and a full-blooded vampire?

You're asking people for blood on the network, and you're saying you're a vampire. You don't think that when you throw in the fact that you're half of one that you owe people just a little bit of an explanation?

Does a human owe me specific clarifications on their skills and dietary needs? Their genetics? How they differ from person to person?

I've committed myself as a member of this team to complete missions, to give my aid, to help. No, I owe you nothing. Perhaps you will note I make no demands of others, short of perhaps some basic respect.

[ this is where he needs clarke to magically appear to either make the situation worse or better. you never know what you're getting with her. ]

Look, I don't give a shit at the end of the day what you are, as long as you're not here to make life even more difficult. Sorry if I hit a nerve. Someone asking for blood on the network is one of the more interesting things to happen this week. Sometimes it's interesting to know who's apparently your teammates.

And if you asked me specifics about myself, I would've told you.

Blood is my dietary need. That is all you need to know. I do not make it any more difficult than this entire discussion with you has been.
