[Sometime after the Escort Missions are completed, Alucard speaks up on the network, sounding weary.]

I loathe to ask this of any of you, though I respect any who wish to decline my request. If you accept, know that I am incredibly grateful for it.

I require a bit of blood, if you have it. I know not all of you do. I will not accept it from someone who is ill.

Should you wish an explanation, or have further questions, I will answer them. I am open to discussing on methods of bloodletting if you would consider to donate it to me.

Only for research. It'd be good reference to see it in person, even just once!

[He sighs, a little amused. Luckily, he's very fond of arts, and did enjoy Rohan's skills.]

I will not have you watch as I drink from a person directly at this time, but I will allow you to watch me drink from a glass. Is that acceptable?

Not particularly. Anyone can drink from a glass. Not everyone can sink their fangs into a person's neck.

[ let him watch for art. ]

[ he thinks, legitimately, for a solid few seconds, and then-- ]

No, that won't do. I don't think I could really draw myself in the middle of that. We could be in front of a mirror but -- well wait, does your reflection show in mirrors or is that just a myth?

I can, in fact, appear in mirrors.

[opensup]

Hm... hang on a moment.

[ and, over the comm, shuffling noises come over. after a few seconds he makes a small grumble, the sound of a pen tapping audible. ]

I need to see how this could work. It would be really awkward no matter what, but...

[ and he begins drawing a few different stick sketches, trying to see if a position where he could be bit and draw it is possible. ]

Do as you need. If it is something that does not work for you, perhaps... there would indeed be someone willing, for the sake of your art.

It wouldn't matter what they think. You're the one who I'd need to capture. [ he stops fiddling with his sketches. ] Anyway, it's no good. No position would be comfortable enough. I suppose I'll take up your offer for the glass.

Very well. I wish I could be more accommodating, but I don't usually drink from the neck.

Oh? A civilized vampire are you?

[ he says like it's a joke, but truthfully he's fascinated. he always was a lover of horror at heart. ]
