[Sometime after the Escort Missions are completed, Alucard speaks up on the network, sounding weary.]

I loathe to ask this of any of you, though I respect any who wish to decline my request. If you accept, know that I am incredibly grateful for it.

I require a bit of blood, if you have it. I know not all of you do. I will not accept it from someone who is ill.

Should you wish an explanation, or have further questions, I will answer them. I am open to discussing on methods of bloodletting if you would consider to donate it to me.

They don’t exist where I’m from. They’re mythological creatures. They just have a long history, so there are... stereotypes, I guess.

Many of those stereotypes are also simply ridiculous rumors where I'm from. Such as, garlic does no harm to me, for example. [He says that wryly, finding it amusing.]

To survive, I only need a pint every few weeks. Otherwise, I can store the blood. However, if I'm injured and have not eaten I don't heal as quickly. So having storage can be helpful.

Both are true. Though I'll admit at times I am a little... embarrassed about turning into a bat. It feels like playing into predictable stereotypes as mentioned, but there's not anything I can do about that.

That’s the last thing I’d care about if I could fly whenever I wanted, but I guess that makes sense.

[ That was an anticlimactic answer, but that’s on Simon for making assumptions, he guesses. Of course, Alucard also seems older than that just because of his 14th-century speech patterns and manners. ]

A terribly interesting thought, but you're not wrong. I suppose I never really thought about someone like my father being that young. He always felt... ancient.
