[Sometime after the Escort Missions are completed, Alucard speaks up on the network, sounding weary.]

I loathe to ask this of any of you, though I respect any who wish to decline my request. If you accept, know that I am incredibly grateful for it.

I require a bit of blood, if you have it. I know not all of you do. I will not accept it from someone who is ill.

Should you wish an explanation, or have further questions, I will answer them. I am open to discussing on methods of bloodletting if you would consider to donate it to me.

Luckily for you I tend to keep my blood under wraps. Nothing good tends to come of vials of divinity in any mortal realms.

I think that is for the best, and I would never ask for you to bleed for me, curious as I might be of what would occur.

There's a curious fellow in my own world who meant to take that slice of divinity and create twisted monstrosities from it. It was not the only event to occur, just the most recent.

My brother has been defiled and cloned, and he is only a god of thunder.

[ there's a pause, and curiously he says: ]

But I am no thunder god. I'm a god of chaos. The same rules need not apply.

I can only imagine it being more troublesome to experiment with such a thing, even with the mere act of drinking it.
