These rifts affecting a single guild member...do they happen often? I had found myself suddenly back in my own universe for some time, with no memory of having joined Hathaway, only to return before I-- nevermind.

[this is voice for a reason because while there is disappointment in her tone, she'd rather not show it to the rest of the guild. it's something she'll get to when her time with Hathaway feels like it's been completed.]

I realize I have been gone for only a handful of days, and merely wanted to inform everyone that I have returned.

[and because as A Leader Type she can't help herself:]

Hopefully we are all already thinking of our aliases for the upcoming mission.

It happened to me when we were still with ALASTAIR. Right before I signed on with Hathaway. [ there's something to the hesitant way she says it. to the silence that follows. she didn't like it. ] Are you alright? It can be quite jarring.

[juniberries]

It certainly is jarring, but...I am fine.

[she can sense the weight in Rey's silence.]

It is just strange to be back with it only having been a few quintants here, while knowing so much has changed where I am from.

It was sort of the opposite for me, but the same effect. I'd been here more than a year, and then I was only back a few days. I still have a hard time reconciling the timelines. [ She understands — that is what she's trying to say. ]

I was back...honestly, I cannot say for how long. [if the writers can't be assed to figure out timeline stuff then neither will i tbh.] It had been difficult enough to understand that my friends here are from different points in time, so this is just an added complication to an already complicated matter.

[forcevisions]

I'm lucky, I guess. I haven't had to deal with any inconsistencies amongst my friends. [ Wait, not entirely true. ] Not for a while at least. [ After all, at first, Kylo had not remembered killing Han or fighting her on Starkiller. He just hadn't been her friend then, and she'd ... caught him up. In a manner of speaking. ]

Has it happened recently for you?

[forcevisions]

No. But it might just be because ... I haven't seen them in some time, back home.

[juniberries]

I see... [woops she's thinking to Keith and it's basically the same thing for her but, well.] But I suppose while we're here, we should not be too concerned with inconsistencies.

Everything seems to line up when we return to our galaxy. It seems that way, at least. Here things are different.

[forcevisions]

It makes sense that it would be hard. They're not quite the person you expect them to be. They weren't there for times they were there for you. It makes sense. But ... there's nothing that can be done about it, so you're right. Don't concern yourself with it.

If anything, it is only important that we inform our friends of the changes we experience when we've returned. So they at the very least can possibly understand where we're coming from.

That makes it sound like a lot changed for you while you were gone.

There are changes that have happened that do not effect only me.

Here, they do. No one else has experienced them.

Well, it is more that I fear what the reaction may be if others from my universe join with Hathaway.

Others who have been effected by such changes.

[a pause.]

...I apologize for sounding vague.

[forcevisions]

It's alright if you don't want to talk about it.

[juniberries]
