These rifts affecting a single guild member...do they happen often? I had found myself suddenly back in my own universe for some time, with no memory of having joined Hathaway, only to return before I-- nevermind.

[this is voice for a reason because while there is disappointment in her tone, she'd rather not show it to the rest of the guild. it's something she'll get to when her time with Hathaway feels like it's been completed.]

I realize I have been gone for only a handful of days, and merely wanted to inform everyone that I have returned.

It happened to me when we were still with ALASTAIR. Right before I signed on with Hathaway. [ there's something to the hesitant way she says it. to the silence that follows. she didn't like it. ] Are you alright? It can be quite jarring.

I've gone through it, too. Twice, actually. When I first joined ALASTAIR, I hadn't been with Team Voltron for that long. It was right before we got split up after we fought with Zarkon the first time.

["I fought with Zarkon the first time." Everyone knows how that actually went down.]

It certainly is jarring, but...I am fine.

[she can sense the weight in Rey's silence.]

It is just strange to be back with it only having been a few quintants here, while knowing so much has changed where I am from.

It was sort of the opposite for me, but the same effect. I'd been here more than a year, and then I was only back a few days. I still have a hard time reconciling the timelines. [ She understands — that is what she's trying to say. ]

I guess when you're dealing with multiversal quantum... whatever, not everything is gonna run smoothly.

Twice? [her voice cracks a bit because hah hah dimension hopping is one thing but what feels akin to timetravel is still something to come to terms with.] And I am fine...just--er, concerned I may have missed something in my short absence that is not on the dossier.

Twice. [He repeats it to affirm the fact. It's something he knew well. The second time had left him feeling ... out of place. Disoriented by the new possibilities of avoidance, when he had never wanted to avoid much before. It helped that he knew that he had that choice.]

Nothing's happened. Just more ... team bonding, I'd guess.

Do you have a plan for our next mission?

I was back...honestly, I cannot say for how long. [if the writers can't be assed to figure out timeline stuff then neither will i tbh.] It had been difficult enough to understand that my friends here are from different points in time, so this is just an added complication to an already complicated matter.

...Have you been taking advantage of that?

[her way of awkwardly trying to initiate Small Talk with a guy she didn't get to talk to when she had been back home.]

And not yet. I have only read the dossier once, but this world seems much more similar to planets the Coalition has helped.

...though I do wonder if this will be a good opportunity to put my traveling circus of performing mice to the test.

I'm lucky, I guess. I haven't had to deal with any inconsistencies amongst my friends. [ Wait, not entirely true. ] Not for a while at least. [ After all, at first, Kylo had not remembered killing Han or fighting her on Starkiller. He just hadn't been her friend then, and she'd ... caught him up. In a manner of speaking. ]

I would not be part of the circus, I would simply be their handler. I would assume I cannot pretend to be a visiting noble as I had done in Hanibara.

Mind you, their performance is much better when it is all four of them together instead of just two...

It appears others and my friends have experienced similar glitches. So at the very least, it is not uncommon.

But yes, I am well. A bit jumbled up in terms of timelines but I...should be used to that by now, I guess.

One moment I was getting ready for bed, and the next thing I knew I had been back in my galaxy, as though I had never joined Hathaway.

I remember not remembering.
