video; post-infiltration (@inuyasha w/ @quickfish & @sonofodin)
[There's video for once! The familiar brash, adolescent voice now matches with a (bruised) face: a screen half full of white hair, golden eyes, dog ears, and an incredibly sour expression. Does he have fangs when he talks? They look like fangs.]
If you're missin' a room full of people, I can tell you right where they are.
[It's hard to lean back when the comm device is attached to a necklace, but Inuyasha does anyway. Behind him is a crowded cell. Everyone's able to see some familiar Rost faces and Larson, some other civilians, as well as Hayame and Odinson.
Hayame, who looks shockingly less like a horse and more like a human, glares from afar, and if it could kill, it would have destroyed Inuyasha on the spot probably. On the other hand, it's a normal day for Odinson; he's indifferent to being stuck in a cell.]
I don't plan on rotting in here with anybody else, and this is all just pissin' me off. [This is, like, his preemptive warning to the guild or whatever.] We're two seconds away from busting out of here, and I don't care how we do it.

Those of us with honor will see to the lives of those without.

If escape we’re not an option, then, yes.
no subject
None of us could live with letting you guys die like that.

There are those among you who value life more than honor, more than the mission.
But the mission must be seen to. It must.
no subject
Did you consider that?
no subject
Perhaps you or others do not understand my honor, nor that value.
But surely you understand that the mission must succeed. I would rather die than jeopardize what Hathaway has promised me- and surely I am not alone.
[why sign up for this shit without a cause you'd die for???]

[Stated as if he doesn't expect her to refute that.]

[she can't imagine it- failure being forgiven.
who would?]
no subject
[Keith is assuming that Hathaway will be forgiving on that particular note.]

[even if tiny mistakes also just feel like tiny failures but ignore that]

Just- do not endanger this mission for anything! Including any misguided rescue. That is my answer!

Just pray it is the right one, and not merely the compassionate one.

Look, lady. Just because I don't want to risk whatever dumb mission everybody thinks they on doesn't mean I'm gonna roll over and let you just off me! Got it?

[IF IT COMES TO THAT...]

I'd like to see you freakin' try...
I'm not gonna kill myself either! What good are we dead? If they think I won't fight them tooth and nail, they've got another thing comin'. I'm not a push-over, and I'm not gonna let them use me against everybody else.

[WEIRD HOW YOU KEEP BRINGING IT UP IF THAT ISN'T THE CASE HAYAME BUT OK]
