Hello.

[ She wonders what some may think of her now, given how calm she is. Alice usually isn't one for starting up conversations and it shows how she seems to fidget in her seat. ]

We must have new "recruits", I can't say I remember any of you from when I first arrived. I'm not good at introductions, forgive me -- my name is Alice Liddell. But I didn't want to address others to introduce myself.

I imagine that some of you may have had your clothing sullied or tattered from what transpired a few days ago with our little excursion. [ Far too polite, considering some of ALASTAIR's own are far from noble and composed. ]

I do have an offer. If you're mindful of your budget, and... other things, such as keeping from authorities, I would like to offer my services to tend to garments. I'm not the most renowned seamstress, but it is very customary where I come from young girls are taught many things, including sewing. I don't ask for anything in return; I don't want anything. It's the least I can do for some of you, who have been held for two weeks. I'll even clean garments for those of you who haven't gotten the chance in the past few weeks.

[ Alice pauses and adds- ]

And, I must note, despite offering such a generous offer, I will only do so, for a small while, as long as some of us -- or most of us -- are looking to be discreet. Indeed, there are vendors who are willing to provide, though they may be looking at this as means to exploit us for a profit. Alternatively, the goblins maybe one venue if you're looking for new clothes to begin with. At least they seem reasonable when it comes to pricing, I've noticed.

[Alice knows what he looks like, of course, but Hellboy is still more comfortable using this thing like a phone. He doesn't really like flaunting his appearance in general, anyway.]

Oh, no, sir- [ Sir. If she calls him "Mister", it just seems a little strange, given his name. ]

I wouldn't ask for anything from you. Having something to do with my hands in addition to helping is enough for me right now.

[Mr. Boy. He can only imagine.] Well... then call it returning the favor. Is there anything you need?

Well...

[ Sure, she could use money, though, she's not going to mention that. Alice runs her hand through her hair in a twitch of nervousness. ]

Ah, I suppose non-perishable foods? It seems rather silly, I know.

[hellshaped]

It's not silly. A little broad, maybe. [He's largely unaware of the time period Alice is from, so he's thinking canned anything, basically.]

Might be a little hard to find on the goblin side of things. I could ask the miller if he wouldn't mind trading some grain for you, if that's what you're looking for.

[digophelia]

Grains may be good, I was thinking of keeping bread and drying out other foods I've had here for a while.

[ If Gintoki cannot stay here, she's definitely going to start packing up and following him. She's not too attached to this room. ]

Then I will settle for grains. I must apologize, I haven't been cooking for very long.

[ And doing a lot of adult things, really. ]

That's alright. You're still young. [He assumes?? He's pretty sure she's not a vampire or a demon now, maybe just a very troubled girl...]

I could show you how to make some things if you want. Not as payment or trade -- just as a friend.

Well.

[ After some momentary inward groaning at being referred to as "young", Alice's protests are soothed by that offer. And, well, Alice may be a sucker for being referred to as a friend. ]

I would deeply appreciate it, sir, of course, at your leisure.

[COMPARATIVELY YOUNG, ALICE. Hellboy is in his 60s, don't get offended.

Still, he's pleased she's agreed. He's curious about her, and figures spending time with her while they aren't fighting things is a good way to get to know her better.]

No problem. I'll see what I can scrounge up. In the meantime -- if you could mend my coat, I'll send some grain your way.
