[ This time around, Alice doesn't look as awkward addressing the network. Curled up in a dark blue cloak, Alice gives a small, awkward wave. ]

Hello.

[ She wonders what some may think of her now, given how calm she is. Alice usually isn't one for starting up conversations and it shows how she seems to fidget in her seat. ]

We must have new "recruits", I can't say I remember any of you from when I first arrived. I'm not good at introductions, forgive me -- my name is Alice Liddell. But I didn't want to address others to introduce myself.

I imagine that some of you may have had your clothing sullied or tattered from what transpired a few days ago with our little excursion. [ Far too polite, considering some of ALASTAIR's own are far from noble and composed. ]

I do have an offer. If you're mindful of your budget, and... other things, such as keeping from authorities, I would like to offer my services to tend to garments. I'm not the most renowned seamstress, but it is very customary where I come from young girls are taught many things, including sewing. I don't ask for anything in return; I don't want anything. It's the least I can do for some of you, who have been held for two weeks. I'll even clean garments for those of you who haven't gotten the chance in the past few weeks.

[ Alice pauses and adds- ]

And, I must note, despite offering such a generous offer, I will only do so, for a small while, as long as some of us -- or most of us -- are looking to be discreet. Indeed, there are vendors who are willing to provide, though they may be looking at this as means to exploit us for a profit. Alternatively, the goblins maybe one venue if you're looking for new clothes to begin with. At least they seem reasonable when it comes to pricing, I've noticed.

[Oh, you're...that girl he helped. It occurs to King that he never got her name, but the important thing is she's safe, and he pauses before answering.]

If you need help, I could lend a hand I suppose. I learned how to sew from watching humans do it.

[digophelia]

But of course.

[ The boy from before -- the floating boy no less. Then if he's not human, what is he? Alice seems to zone in on that with curiosity, not scorn. ]

If you are not human, may I ask what you are?

[slothking]

[He can't blame her, really. He didn't exactly try to hide his species, nor did the "username" he's been given hide his status. Instead of shoving it aside, King shrugs and crosses his arms behind his head.]

I'm a fairy.

[digophelia]

[ Usernames are just names; she picked hers on whim without considering much of it. Alice looks surprised, even a little child-like how she scoots closer, with her hands in her lap. ]

A fairy? Why, what happened to your wings?

[ And tact isn't exactly her thing. ]

[slothking]

I've never had wings. For the life of me I can't remember if there was ever a time I did.

[It's not something that gets brought up all that often, and internally he winces. He looked far more human than the other members of his clan did.]

My sister didn't either.

[digophelia]

Really?

[ How fascinating -- no, really. Alice is briefly reminded of old Welsh and British stories about fairies, but they took on a different theme. They sounded more like ghosts than little things with wings. ]

Then is that why you float? And you have that magic?

[slothking]

I suppose so.

[Curious girl. Not even Elizabeth had asked this much of him, but the princess probably researched many of their secrets before seeking them out. Still, he doesn't mind. She's not asking personal things.]

Levitation has always been an ability of mine. Chastiefol is easier to wield that way.

[digophelia]

I must admit, I am a little jealous of you, in both those instances. All I have is my knife and hobby horse.

[ Still, it's exciting, in a way, to be talking to a fairy. ]

Then you must not be a boy, you must be... well.

[ "Older than you look." ]

[slothking]

Over a thousand, at my last count.

[He wants to ask what a hobby horse is, because the first thing he thinks of is those rocking horses human children have, but settles for being lazy and just responding to her guess.]

I'll live far longer than that, provided nothing kills me.

[digophelia]

I thought nothing could kill a fairy.

[ Said innocently enough, without too much thought and with a small smile on her face. ]

That's fascinating, truly. But there are others here that actually are older than you.

[slothking]

[He grows quiet at that, though he knows that she didn't necessarily mean any harm by stating what she did. King glances away from his network device, before he makes a rather ungraceful snort.]

Of course there are. I'm only the third fairy king.

[digophelia]

Oh, but they're not fairies, they're-

[ She's actually not entirely sure what Kida could be, being 8,000 some years. Alice stops herself before she rambles. ]

Oh, no, I'm very sorry, I have the tendency to prattle on. My name is Alice Liddell. I don't think I properly thanked you for your help. I was able to find my friend.

[slothking]

I realize that.

[There's a small chuckle as she apologizes, before he shakes his head.]

Don't worry about it. Things were...hectic. I'm King.

[digophelia]

King? I like it, it's befitting.

[ As if she knows he's a fairy king. She just thinks his magic has been pretty impressive so far. ]
