[ This time around, Alice doesn't look as awkward addressing the network. Curled up in a dark blue cloak, Alice gives a small, awkward wave. ]

Hello.

[ She wonders what some may think of her now, given how calm she is. Alice usually isn't one for starting up conversations and it shows how she seems to fidget in her seat. ]

We must have new "recruits", I can't say I remember any of you from when I first arrived. I'm not good at introductions, forgive me -- my name is Alice Liddell. But I didn't want to address others to introduce myself.

I imagine that some of you may have had your clothing sullied or tattered from what transpired a few days ago with our little excursion. [ Far too polite, considering some of ALASTAIR's own are far from noble and composed. ]

I do have an offer. If you're mindful of your budget, and... other things, such as keeping from authorities, I would like to offer my services to tend to garments. I'm not the most renowned seamstress, but it is very customary where I come from young girls are taught many things, including sewing. I don't ask for anything in return; I don't want anything. It's the least I can do for some of you, who have been held for two weeks. I'll even clean garments for those of you who haven't gotten the chance in the past few weeks.

[ Alice pauses and adds- ]

And, I must note, despite offering such a generous offer, I will only do so, for a small while, as long as some of us -- or most of us -- are looking to be discreet. Indeed, there are vendors who are willing to provide, though they may be looking at this as means to exploit us for a profit. Alternatively, the goblins maybe one venue if you're looking for new clothes to begin with. At least they seem reasonable when it comes to pricing, I've noticed.

There is being better safe than sorry, then there is that. It's distressing, really, if they decided to take everyone in the woods nondiscriminatory, what have they done with the natives of this land? How long has it been like this and what has happened to others?

It's not the first time I've seen monarchs behaving so rashly.

( something in his tone says he doubts it'll be his last, either. )

[ This is suddenly angering her more than she wants to admit, if only because of the Queen of Hearts. Imaginary or not, it's bringing back the memories of storming her castle, losing friends, and her recent string of comments to her. ]

It shouldn't matter, it still doesn't make it right. Law should be about direction, organization, and equality, not enforcing one's will if they disagree with you.

[dishearten]

It should be, but law is not the same as a royal decree. In my experience, it never has been.

( he's only ever known monarchs to abuse their power. so he was left with sparse ability to be shocked that the monarchs of this land were not much different from the one that he'd left. from the one that had kept him captive for a perceived slight, and for much longer. )

As it shouldn't be, that's not law and it's not right. A good leader would want to help their people, not control them.

[ It's still pretty distressing and Graham of all people seems like he was just at the wrong place, at the wrong time. Alice actually is starting to get upset. ]

( she seems quite bothered and he's not entirely sure how to react. not having his heart leaves him incredibly impaired in moments like this. the idea of royalty being cruel and unreasonable is downright expected to him; someone that still finds it alarming is very new. )

No, it's not right.

( she's not wrong about that. )

[ On the other hand, he seems to be hand, he seems to be handling it well, at least. So composed, which seems odd to Alice. Perhaps it is a bit of a shell shock? She swallows, before adding a little awkwardly. ]

Still, I'm glad that none of you were hurt or held longer, including you, sir.

[ Maybe that will stir a reaction? ]

( it's really not personal, how little he reacts to things; he reacts as much as he can. in a way it's probably a good thing that he was heartless for his incarceration. he might not have handled it so well if he could actually feel all the buttons that sort of captivity pressed.

as it was, he's more or less back to normal... which means very little energy when one would expect vehemence. )

I'm glad too. I'd rather not imagine the result of the rest of you didn't help to spring us out.

[ The lack of sunlight is bad enough, but the food and sleep deprivation, alongside whatever physical violence they endured?

It'd almost be bad as Rutledge. ]

Just rest, sleep, and eat as much as you can.

[dishearten]

( he shouldn't, but he finds the consideration ... odd. it's been a long time since someone had tried to look out for him, if one ignored the commands he was ill and to try and rest when things started falling apart in storybrooke. Emma had cared, Mary Margaret had; Regina was just trying to keep him from the truth.

he knows nobody cared for his wellbeing in the forest, aside from the wolves he'd called family, and the girl he'd spared in the woods. it's odd to make that sort of connections in this second start. )
