Well now. This is all hell of a thing -- ALASTAIR, savin' worlds, temporal bugs full of acid an' whatnot -- but I've got a bit of a conundrum.

I'm a man of many skills, but a cobbler? Oh, far from it. And I've a pair of boots that are a bit in need of a rescue. Suppose I could take what I've been generously given by your very fine organization, but these are a bit near an' dear to my heart.

I don't suppose any of you wondrously talented individuals could help me out? I'd be very much obliged.

[ Knock Out is leaned comfortably against a low wall in the courtyard, arms folded over his chest and looking bored. That flurry of cards not far off catches his eye though, and he looks decidedly impressed as Twisted Fate appears out of it. Or, who he assumes is Twisted Fate. The clothes draped over his arm lends credibility.

Human, then. Sort of disappointing, but you take what you can get, particularly when it's as flashy as this guy is. ]

[When he'd pulled his trick, he did have the vision of a robot -- but he certainly didn't expect Knock Out to be as tall as he is. He's rendered speechless for a few seconds before he smiles and tips his hat to the Cybertronian.]

Hopefully, these will suffice. 'Fraid there wasn't much else.

[ He enjoys that speechlessness. He always enjoys it. He pushes off from his lean and takes a leisurely (but showy, a bit of a saunter to them) few steps to close the distance between them, then leans over to delicately pluck up the proffered clothes. ]

A bit minuscule. I didn't ask for 'as large as you can find' for no reason. [ which is probably pretty apparent by now ]

[They're given freely. This time, anyway. Quite honestly, Knock Out's been the most fun to talk to so far. It helps that it's verbal, anyway.]

Point taken. Didn't take into account what giant you'd be.

Have you considered that you're just exceedingly small?

[ Except he's totally pleased to be called 'giant', and it shows in a smile. It's so not true, like every Cybertronian is taller than him (with a few exceptions). What a nice ego boost, though.

He tucks the (dishearteningly small) clothes into a compartment with careful clawtips. ]

In any case -- thank you. [ Those sound like words he doesn't use much, probably because they are. ]

[ If it's rude, Knock Out doesn't look bothered. He shifts back to his original post to drop back into that lean, which is a slight improvement over standing around. ]

I'm from Cybertron, making me a Cybertronian. [ As you might expect. ] Assuming you were speaking generally. More specifically — [ He dips into a halfassed but still fancy little bow. ] Knock Out, famed doctor.

[ "famed" yeah ok. boy he loves being around strangers who won't know any better. ]

[How curious. Twisted Fate chuckles and scratches an ear.] I'm from Runeterra. Making me Runterrean. [From his tone, he's definitely not serious.]

So, a Cybertronian doc, huh? Must be real specialized here. You're one of a kind 'round these parts.

[ He is one of a kind, isn't he? It's almost a nice thought. Things sound easier without a load of Cybertronians all tripping over and warring on each other. A smile draws across his face. ]

That's right. [ A little like it's just occurred to him. ] Looks like I won't be having many patients, will I? A nice little vacation.

[Flattery is something he can dispense, when appropriate.

And right now, it certainly seems appropriate.]
