[Sai hasn't entirely worked out how to use this whole magic jewelry network thing yet, but the thought-typing is relatively straightforward enough. So:]
is it truly wise to be rescuing the qorral ?
should a significant number of them perish, it will be far easier to complete our secondary mission of stopping the mining efforts

I do not claim that anyone is innocent; that is subjective. What is important at this moment is that they could assist us in dealing with the Deemers.
We can afford better relations with the locals.
I suggest if you do not agree with this outlook, then simply do what you are best at.
Which is not giving suggestions of this manner.

i am uncertain the locals would assist us over others of their kind, regardless of disagreements they might hold with them
but i also do not understand
why should we be expected to assist them merely because we are here?
i would not expect their assistance if we found trouble here
they have no reason for loyalty toward ALISTAIR or its agents
as we do not toward them

but i do not mind waiting until you have done what you will
[Fighting among the other members of Audentes is even more pointless than protecting the Qorral, after all.]

If nothing else, follow your orders. Obey the mission. Whether you like it or not, it is what is expected of you.

the request came from them, not ALISTAIR
