So, as it turns out, you probably really, really shouldn't be lookin' for our local angry dead elf guy.
Not that I was lookin', but he's out there and not doin' too great.
Anyway. Point is, if you need a drink, I'm feelin' generous enough to buy. Swing by, if you're feelin' it.
Oh yeah, Pete. Got your horse. Come get it, whenever.

How exactly are you gonna give me magic anyway?

I don't know, some... magic... infusion thing! I've never done it before. But it can probably be done with my healing magic! Or something.

You sure you wanna take that gamble?

All right. We can give this a shot.

Where should I see you, Great Papyrus?

action, baby
Twisted Fate is standing outside the door; he's already bandaged his arms and throat since his run-in with Koltira, but it bothers him less than the magic being torn from him.]
I'm putting this as before Papyrus encounters koltira just because it hasnt been threaded yet
Thank you for coming! Just take a seat anywhere!
makes sense!
When Fate glances up at Papyrus, his eyes no longer glow their magical, vibrant blue. There is no glow, just a calm violet color to the irises.]
Sure thing.
[Twisted Fate pulls up a rickety wooden chair, taking a seat.]
Need me to do anything else?
no subject
[ He's never done this before. Not like, a transfer of magic to anyone before, let alone from a monster to a human. Worst case scenario, he thinks, nothing will happen. It just won't work. Best case is it does! It shouldn't hurt either of them, either way.
Papyrus takes a seat on the bed near said chair, and holds out his hand. Still gloved, but that shouldn't matter. ]
Maybe it'll be easier if we're holding hands. I've never done this before, so... it might not work. But at least then I tried?
no subject
Plus, it ain't like I'm adverse to your company.
[Which is... more true than he'd care to really, truly admit to himself. But there it is.
Twisted Fate slips his hand into Papyrus's, offering him a faint smile.]

But it's time to be serious, and he takes in a deep breath.
It starts first as healing magic, like he said it would. He knows how to work with this at least, and gently, like how one feels goosebumps, healing magic works it's way through Fate's body. Although he's already properly bandaged, the magic itself works to repair whatever damage it can- bruises, cuts, anything left unhealed.
It's maybe a minute or two after this that the healing magic is pulled back and slowed to a trickle, and it feels maybe a little different. Not quite like the same warmth of healing magic, but colder and a little stranger. It seeps into the healing magic feeling like a chill, not an unpleasant feeling one- just strange, and odd, and barely there.
But it's enough to kickstart something in Fate. Maybe bring back a little of his own magic, revitalize himself somewhat. ]

Something new comes into the feeling, the chill.
His eyes glow, just a little. A card in his pocket gives a passing tremor.
It isn't gone. Just faded.
Twisted Fate looks at Papyrus and smiles, the expression much warmer than his previous more arrogant ones. He gives his hand a squeeze.]
Thank you.

You're welcome! I'm glad it worked!

He can't say he's ever met a skeleton with such a big damned heart.]
Me too.
Is there anythin' you want me to do in return?
no subject
[And, cue a yawn.]
Anyway, I'm going to go back out now!! Back on patrol!!
no subject
[That makes him pause.]
For what? You're not goin' back out to see him, are ya?

Yeah, well, that makes two of us.
[Twisted Fate leans in quick, giving Papyrus a peck on the forehead. Yep, that sure is bony, but he does like the skeleton and he does sincerely want him to be safe.]
Keep me updated, yeah?
