So, as it turns out, you probably really, really shouldn't be lookin' for our local angry dead elf guy.
Not that I was lookin', but he's out there and not doin' too great.
Anyway. Point is, if you need a drink, I'm feelin' generous enough to buy. Swing by, if you're feelin' it.
Oh yeah, Pete. Got your horse. Come get it, whenever.

[ Which is hard for her to say. It's not natural to leave a friend alone when they're in need, but his needs are... different. ]

You okay, man?
( he'll get to the horse business in a minute. )

...He did drain my magic. Hoping it's not permanent.

I wish I knew how to help with that. I really do. I hear from around the block this has happened before, so maybe someone else could tell you if it'll come back.
no subject
[More than he can really said, it completely discomforts him. The injuries less so, but having his magic stolen is a first.
And it was alarmingly painful. Personal.]
Anyway, don't worry about it. You want your horse?
no subject
he can't help with the idea of an undead elf sucking out magical powers, he just can't. as much as he'd like to.
he can see a subject change when one is tossed in his direction, though, so he'll take it and not push too hard in the other direction. )
Yeah, I do. Was it hard to get?

[ tho shiro had been assured that anyone who actually found koltira would also be in pain, so. that all checks out. ]
Are you injured?

Not as bad as I could'a been. He got cognitive long enough that I got away. He's not lost, not completely.

[It's quite a mouthful, but she persists with the honorifics anyway. Still, she sounds rather sleepy.]
When we first arrived on the train he saved me and a Qorral family, but I never got the chance to ask him myself.
[A beat before she adds:] And don't worry, I heard you, so I won't go looking for him. I was told to not move around too much anyway.
no subject
His name's Koltira. ...Saved you, did he? [sounds like the honorable elf.]
You all right? You sound off, Nyuu.

To be honest, I don't know what happened these past few days. I remember going to the fracking fields after the earthquake, and trying to get one injured worker to safety, but then everything blacks out after that. When I came to, Saitama-san was trying to wake me up, but I wasn't in the same place as before nor was it was the same day. He found me around the farmlands on the outskirts of town and I was badly injured.
I'm better now, though. [She quickly adds.] Just tired and sore. [And confused.]

You go through these blackouts before?
