It's occurred to me that since our membership shifts and our backgrounds vary so much, it might be good to compare what we're capable of. More to the point, I was thinking we might be able to help each other pick up relevant skills, if not hone the ones we already have.
If people are looking to train or think they could help others, why don't we discuss that here? I know at least a few of us don't have backgrounds in combat, for example. On our first day here I met someone who wasn't familiar with firearms but might get good use out of the skill, for another.
In my case, I have experience training others and can help with hand-to-hand combat. I can work with people ranging from average human strength to well above it. I've got some skill with swords and knives, but I wouldn't compare that to someone who specializes in them, and that's something I'd like to work on. In terms of non-combative skills, if someone wants to work on something like cooking, I'm reasonably helpful there.
Let's see how we can help each other improve.
[ooc: Please feel free to thread-hop/jack here, that's what this is for!]

You really don't worry about things much, do you?
[It's this weird combination of high energy and absolute chill]

NYEH HEH HEH!! IT'S A JOKE, GET IT? BECAUSE I'M NOT DEAD.
no subject
See I thought it was a joke because you're a skeleton.

[He's sure he's had a conversation like this with Papyrus before and he can't believe it's happening again.]
Humans usually associate skeletons with death because a human corpse will eventually decompose into one, you know.
no subject
OH YES, I KNOW THAT HUMANS ARE GROWING SKELETONS INSIDE OF THEM SO THAT LATER THEY CAN BECOME SKELETONS TOO. BUT IT'S REALLY WEIRD TO ASSOCIATE THAT WITH DEATH!! I MEAN, I'M NOT DEAD. IT'S JUST ANOTHER PART OF LIFE!!
no subject
... Are you saying that where you come from, humans die and become skeletons like you? Like, you were a human before?
Because for the most part, human skeletons aren't alive.
[Not counting Brook, who has already been discussed.]

[ feel free to say what the fuck, law. ]

Papyrus
[How does he explain to a guy like this.]
no
people are both with a full skeleton
they're functional, human bodies wouldn't work without them
[Law can't not try to explain this, as a doctor.]
no subject
[Don't even try, Law. Just... not worth it.]
no subject
That wasn't what I was doing at all
Why would you think that?

Alright, then the next time I run into you and Ban-ya in person I'll remove his skeleton and see how he manages without it.
[Picking on Ban because he's the one person Law wouldn't feel bad about temporarily crippling. He'll put the skeleton back, he swears.]
no subject
[ Look, he knows Ban. No one calls him "Ban-ya," you damn fool. ]
no subject
Ban
Who else could I have meant?
no subject
OKAY BUT IF YOU REMOVE ME FROM BAN, WHAT'S THAT GOING TO PROVE? THAT HE CAN'T PICK UP AFTER HIMSELF??
[ things law probably didn't want to think about: papyrus considers himself "ban's skeleton." ]
no subject
You'll see if/when it happens.
Don't think too much about it.
