It is my understanding that we were gathered to function as a team. A concept that is, perhaps, difficult for many of us to become accustomed to, but a path we have had no choice but to take in any case.
Yet here we are, already faced with danger enough from our missions, and we are equally forced to fear one of our own as well?
Explain to me why we should endure the presence of a monster who cannot keep his nature in check. How many were injured by Koltira's hand, yet all of us remain silent.

[He's rolling his eyes on the other end.]
Cool your tits, bruh.
Keep 'em icy, aite?
[keeP THEM ICY???? butt... the nipples]
First off-
[eat a dick, your honor]
Screw you. Second, why don't we think a little harder about this, okay?

Speak simply. Your slang is making this conversation more difficult than it ought to be.
no subject
Fine.
[His shoulders hunch slightly as he thinks on his end, wondering how to go about this the right way.]
I get that you think he's a threat to the rest of the team. But we need to face the facts here.
He issued a warning on the network, right? That was a public broadcast, which means everyone should have been able to hear it. How many people were all up in that post being like, "Oh man, can we stop him? Let's save the guy!"
Basically, a bunch of the dudes and dudettes he hurt did what they were specifically asked not to.
[don't worry hunni he ain't finished just let that sink in]

Yeah.
[Hanzo is angry, it seems, in a way that almost feels personal.]
What you're suggesting is that we punish him for whatever happened, but...
Okay. This time, his powers got out of hand. Crazy! I know. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I wasn't scared shitless after I saw what he could do. But, in a place like this...
[If he was on video, Hanzo would be able to see him wildly gesticulating, but he will only be able to hear some muted shuffling.]
Where kids can shoot lasers out of their eyes or fry people with their minds, or whatever...
What's keeping that kind of power from falling into the wrong hands? What happened to this Koltira person, it could theoretically happen to anybody. Is there really a point in grilling him for something he probably already regrets?
Suffering, or guilt... That kinda stuff can be pretty awful, too.

[Asher bites his lip, hesitant to say the next few words.
As a result, there's a long pause on his end before he continues.]
Couldn't someone else say the same thing about you?
no subject
Why do you make statements that I am already aware of? I do not run from what I have done! I have confronted it. I have expected my brother to do something beyond forgiving me, but he has not.
Should someone feel the right to confront me, I welcome it, Asher. Your point has been nothing but matters I am well aware of.
no subject
At the very least, Hanzo knows what he has done. What irritates the Asher most, however, is the fact that the other man continues to revel in his own shame while he receives the kind of love and acceptance from Genji that Asher has spent an entire life chasing.]
I'm just saying that you seem to have changed. From back then, right? So why can't he?
[Now, upon clearing his throat:]
You want a solution to all of this, is what I'm getting.
[also because guess who has been eavesdropping like a nosy lil bitch]
Does it have to be violent? Or emotionally... Y'know.
no subject
A solution, violent or not, is desired. [preferably violent tho]
no subject
A search for a solution is not a bad thing.]
What happened?
[The fight with which this conversation had began has been dropped, for now.]
There's gotta be a reason that you're so pissed. Something specific.

[Asher, you're still on voice. Don't gesture to your face as if he can see you???]
Anyone with eyes could see that.

Take some time to cool off, maybe.
Whoever it was who was hurt...
Are they okay, now?
no subject
He has always been resilient.

Then maybe you should go spend some time with him.
[Because if that kind of near-death experience wasn't a way of confirming that life doesn't last forever...]
God!
[On his end, things are starting to sound a little different.
Like he's having trouble speaking, even though his voice is getting louder.]
Don't you realize how lucky you are? You literally did the worst thing possible, and he still cares enough about you to forgive you!
Do you know how many people would kill for a chance to be accepted like that?
no subject
I take it there is someone you are referring to. [cuz it wasn't subtle my dude]
no subject
[yeah he's gonna straight up ignore that last question lalskdjf]
So he's the one who gets to decide what you deserve. Maybe it's time for you to accept that.
no subject
It is our lives.
[oh he notices that]

[Asher stops mid-sentence, feeling defeated.
Naive as he is, he has the need to say one more thing before the feed cuts out.]
You really are the worst.
