It is my understanding that we were gathered to function as a team. A concept that is, perhaps, difficult for many of us to become accustomed to, but a path we have had no choice but to take in any case.
Yet here we are, already faced with danger enough from our missions, and we are equally forced to fear one of our own as well?
Explain to me why we should endure the presence of a monster who cannot keep his nature in check. How many were injured by Koltira's hand, yet all of us remain silent.

--> action?!
though she'll be happy for the company, at least. she is so sick of silence these days.
she'll be seated at a small table in the corner, though it won't be hard to spot her at all. even on an alien planet, the pink of her hair remains distinctive. ]

She is one of them, and her behavior is... different. Concerning.
Still, he approaches, sitting across from her. Hanzo pauses, then reaches for her wrist, his fingers touching just lightly.
He says nothing.]

she hardly needs to voice her curiosity, though, knowing from just a glance alone what he means to provide with the touch. her brows knit, and she has to look away before she makes a scene there in the establishment. her own fingers curl in, hand balling into a little fist against the wood. ]
...I'm sorry I yelled at you.

And I am not exactly the most gentlest of men. There are occasions, I think, one should yell at me. I think myself the unmovable mountain. Genji calls it stubbornness.
[It's spoken wryly. In any case, it caused him to take her seriously and he was not insulted by it.]
My approach to this matter with Koltira aside, you do not quite seem yourself. I would listen to you, if you wish to speak your concerns to me.

Let's just say you are not the only man in my life who has suffered by his hands, and wish to fight him again because of it. [ at least hanzo felt compelled to do it for someone he loves, and not something as comparatively minuscule as pride.
she smiles at him, though it is a touch wry. ] At least you're an easier mountain to climb.
[ now her hand turns beneath his, palm opening up to accept his hand if he chooses to leave it there. ]
I'm sorry Genji was hurt... I wish I could have been there to help.

Achilles, then. He sees fit to challenge Koltira.
[That is a mix of feelings.]
He will live. If anything, my brother is resilient. [HE SHOULD KNOW] I had heard what happened through word of mouth only. I suspect Genji was attempting to not tell me what occurred.

His pride's been compromised... and he won't listen to reason.
[ she shrugs, sighing heavily. the tension that's fallen between them because of it has been just as exhausting as the argument itself, in all honesty. some days she just wishes things were back to normal between them... when things were perfect and idyllic.
but anyway... enough about them. ]
Do you suppose Genji feared this is what would have happened if he told you?
no subject
[Similar, but not the same. Regardless, he thinks he can relate a little to Achilles, albeit letting his pride control him is foolish.
Hanzo snorts.]
Very likely. Though I wish he had, anyway.

And if he asked you — begged you — not to do anything? What would you do?
no subject
But ultimately, I would listen. Despite everything, I love my brother. I would not dismiss his wishes, as I once did.

a moment passes, and her lashes flutter suddenly that may or may have nothing to do with the sudden breath she sucks in.
she glances around hastily. ]
—Where did that waiter go? It's pretty hard to eat without any food, heh...

[Gently, he squeezes her hand, watching how she reacts. The argument she and Achilles had, it must have been difficult.
And if Achilles does truly love Olivia, would he not listen? Pride. Pride, truly, is difficult, and can make one bull-headed. Hanzo has been guilty of this, and his own stubbornness.]
You can always speak to me. You do not need to hide, if you do not wish to.

...I don't really want to think about it too much, [ she confesses, her voice small. quiet. ]
I'm.. a little too afraid what I might discover, if I do.
