Well, I gotta say, despite all of the little disasters peppering around here, it ain't all bad.

If I got my timing right, 'bout this time of year, I'd have just missed the Harrowing. Don't reckon any of you really know what it is, but it's a little year time tradition where I'm from -- and I'm all too happy to miss out on it.

[He chuckles to himself:] Shame about Snow Day, though, I suppose.

In any case. Thinkin' about it, I was a little curious if any of you were missin' out on some... festivities back home? Or did you dodge a bullet?

Since we have such a colorful bunch here, didn't figure it hurt to ask.

Harrowing? Hm. Oh! You mean Halloween? I don't think it was too popular in Japan back home. But it was big in other countries?

[Sakura isn't too disappointed though. Japan itself has other holidays they celebrate and all instead.]

Hm. It's dressing up and getting candy, right? Maybe your world just calls it a different name?

[Because it sounds. Close enough?]

It's interesting, isn't it? How different worlds might have similar celebrations but different names. I suppose the biggest ones we had back home at school with everyone was Valentines Day, and then White Day, and Christmas.....

Hm? Oh. Well, Valentines is when we give chocolates or gifts to the people we care about. White Day is a month later when those people who received something give a gift in return. Christmas is...well, it's bigger in other countries really, rather than Japan. But it's a holiday for families to get together and have a feast and share presents! It's near the end of the year so a lot of people get some time off during it all and spent time with their families.

Heartseekers? Snow Day.....I guess I'm more used to thinking of spring back home, with the cherry blossoms. But you're right! Christmas would be coming up, near the end of the year.

I think so too. It'll be fun! Hopefully we'll get a bit of time to relax around then, so we can rest and celebrate at headquarters.

I've been with ALASTAIR for....hm. A little over a year now. But we did have some celebrations over our time here. It might not always be the same as back home, but it's still fun!

[When there aren't.....er, dead bodies involved, thank you, Chantes.]

Well, here, I can help a lot more people with ALASTAIR. Whole other worlds. And I've made friends with people I wouldn't have met back home! I know Syaoran-kun and my family and everyone else aren't missing me at least.

[So, she's had time to accept this. To try make the most of it.]

I mean, back home, while we're here, no time passes. So...for them, I've never been away. None of us have. So that's good.

Y-yes! I'd be worried if everyone back home really thought I was missing all this time. Let alone everyone else here too, their friends and family. I mean, you probably still have some back home too, right? Are any of yours here?

I'm sorry. It's hard to know, sometimes people have lots of friends from home, or at least one other person. But not always.

Still, you're right! I feel better knowing I'm not missing things back home at least, while I help here.
