[ Really, she had hoped to get her thoughts out about this sooner, but there are things she wants to Address and get people to think about now that it seems like a new year is upon them. It makes sense after the Christmas/Yule w/e celebrations that had taken place. For any that may know her though, she definitely seems very upbeat today. ]

Good day, everyone. [ It's the first time she's actually addressed the magitek like this though, which is why she tries to keep as formal as possible from the get go. ] My name is Sonia Nevermind, some of you may know me, others may not -- if that is the case, it is a pleasure to meet you now.

I was wondering... is it common for people of your worlds to make New Years Resolutions? This is where you make promises or goals for yourself for the new year.

For me, this year I hope to get stronger, so I may protect those I care about. I wish to learn more about medicine, to ensure that those with healing skills are not tiring themselves out. [ She's ticking these off with her fingers as she goes. ] I wish... to be more honest, about past instances that were beyond my control... but I feel are important to share with friends. I wish to spend more time with others, and learn more about the different cultures and languages we have within our team. If you were to consider this now... what would you choose?

Also, as we have been in good spirits recently, I also hoped we may try to get to know one another better with a game? There is one called "2 truths 1 lie", I believe, where we share two pieces of information that are "real" along with one piece of information that is a lie. As I understand, this is a hella good game to bond. For example: "I can speak 30 languages." "I have got a sister." "I can pilot a helicopter." Which one is incorrect?

I haven't, but... [Sonia won't be able to see it, since he's just projecting his voice, but he's tapping the corner of his jaw.] It might be a matter of different universes. Regardless of its size, I should know it. What sort of country is it?

Thay may be for the best. [ She isn't really giving anything away with her voice, it's been softer for a while now anyway. It doesn't dip at all even saying this. ] But it is a country that is still run by a King and Queen. We have no other government.

[She isn't giving anything away, but it's still an odd thing to say about her home. He won't call her out on it, but it is something he'll keep in mind.]

It sounds like a very traditional place. Well. Except for mandatory helicopter piloting training. [That's pretty unusual.] Did you get a license as part of that course, or do you just know how to fly one in a pinch?

[ To be fair, she doesn't hide the fact that the kids in her country are taught a course on warfare... not just helicopter piloting. If he listens to other parts of her conversations, that has come up. Along with... some other Questionable things. ]

Too traditional, I might say. It is just part of our school curriculum, however, so I am not entirely sure why we would.

Although he's opted not to use video, Fugo can sense a note of reluctance in her voice. As such, he'll nudge the subject back to the game.]

[ Sorry for the nightmare stories before sleep then... Kaz and Urahara brought up the worst tbh.

I can prepare another. No problemo. I miss my friends the most from home. My country is very important to me. I have been abducted once before.

Hmm. [This one's a little tricky. The first one seems to be a given, although it's odd that she specifies friends and not family. So it has to be between the last two.] Well, assuming you don't consider your current circumstances to be an abduction of sorts-- you've never been abducted before.

Incorrect. [ Though this is also a trick in itself... ] I admit, I cheated a little with that. I have been abducted twice before.

[ She smiles apologetically, though it isn't like he can see it. ] I am sorry.

Ah. [That's ... pretty clever. And also pretty sad, at the same time.] No, you don't need to apologize. Deception and plays on words are part of the game. [A pause, before he adds:] I am sorry to hear that happened to you.

[Abductions are, in general, pretty terrible and distressing experiences.]

[ Despite her making some very dumb comments at time, it's mostly because she's constantly cycling through so many languages rather than her... being dumb... ]

That is true, I suppose. [ She still looks sheepish. ] I am alright, however, so there is no need to say that. I would do anything for my country, even if part of it is surviving a situation such as that.
