[ Really, she had hoped to get her thoughts out about this sooner, but there are things she wants to Address and get people to think about now that it seems like a new year is upon them. I was wondering... is it common for people of your worlds to make New Years Resolutions? This is where you make promises or goals for yourself for the new year.
For me, this year I hope to get stronger, so I may protect those I care about. I wish to learn more about medicine, to ensure that those with healing skills are not tiring themselves out. [ She's ticking these off with her fingers as she goes. ] I wish... to be more honest, about past instances that were beyond my control... but I feel are important to share with friends. I wish to spend more time with others, and learn more about the different cultures and languages we have within our team. If you were to consider this now... what would you choose?
Also, as we have been in good spirits recently, I also hoped we may try to get to know one another better with a game? There is one called "2 truths 1 lie", I believe, where we share two pieces of information that are "real" along with one piece of information that is a lie. As I understand, this is a hella good game to bond. For example: "I can speak 30 languages." "I have got a sister." "I can pilot a helicopter." Which one is incorrect?

Those are a lot of resolutions, signorina. They're all very good ones, but be sure not to be too hard on yourself if you don't get them all perfect right away, okay? As for myself, I tend to make resolutions throughout the year rather than all at once, but that's just a personal preference. If I were to make one right now it would be--to help my friends take care of themselves better.

I think the lie must be "I have got a sister" because it's the most ordinary statement, and you don't seem like a very ordinary person. I don't know you that well, though.

That is the correct lie, though I could probably name around 50 I think. There are actually around 6,500 spoken languages, however, because of different dialects. For example, Mandarin and Cantonese are both forms of Chinese, but sound very different. [ A beat, then: ] I can speak both of those, of course.

I am a princess of the Kingdom of Novoselic back home, it is my duty to learn the languages... as for the helicopter... we are taught a course on warfare even in our schools. I later learned that it is not actually quite common.

I suppose if I had to make a resolution for myself, it would be to "keep moving forward". But that's a little vague and difficult to measure, so I don't think I will. I'd wish you good luck with yours, but it sounds like you've put more thought into them than most do.

I think "keep moving forward" can work, especially if you feel as though you have not done so in a while. Being stuck here can make you feel as though you cannot make progress, so any progress through that resolution would be good I think. Though not in this case, I have tried to learn slang in all the languages I have learned however... it is usually easier to do it in English though I think.
