[ Really, she had hoped to get her thoughts out about this sooner, but there are things she wants to Address and get people to think about now that it seems like a new year is upon them. It makes sense after the Christmas/Yule w/e celebrations that had taken place. For any that may know her though, she definitely seems very upbeat today. ]

Good day, everyone. [ It's the first time she's actually addressed the magitek like this though, which is why she tries to keep as formal as possible from the get go. ] My name is Sonia Nevermind, some of you may know me, others may not -- if that is the case, it is a pleasure to meet you now.

I was wondering... is it common for people of your worlds to make New Years Resolutions? This is where you make promises or goals for yourself for the new year.

For me, this year I hope to get stronger, so I may protect those I care about. I wish to learn more about medicine, to ensure that those with healing skills are not tiring themselves out. [ She's ticking these off with her fingers as she goes. ] I wish... to be more honest, about past instances that were beyond my control... but I feel are important to share with friends. I wish to spend more time with others, and learn more about the different cultures and languages we have within our team. If you were to consider this now... what would you choose?

Also, as we have been in good spirits recently, I also hoped we may try to get to know one another better with a game? There is one called "2 truths 1 lie", I believe, where we share two pieces of information that are "real" along with one piece of information that is a lie. As I understand, this is a hella good game to bond. For example: "I can speak 30 languages." "I have got a sister." "I can pilot a helicopter." Which one is incorrect?

Only a little. I will accept that at least. Of course there are other things as well. There are many things I have been able to experience here. Have you tried the hot springs yet? They are truly wonderful!

[ Though guess who went in with her underwear on bc she doesn't know any better... this girl right here yup. ]

Oh, I have, yes...! They're quite lovely, aren't they? We don't really have them anywhere I've been to back home... It's so luxurious...

That is the same for me. Obviously we have baths but that isn't the same. Would you like to go sometime? From what I have found it has been more enjoyable to go with someone else, or it can get rather boring.

Oh! [ olivia looks quite smitten by the idea, hands flying up to cover her mouth. not that sonia will see... ] Would you not mind? [ despite sonia already implying as much, olivia just HAS TO MAKE SURE okay... ] I haven't gone in a while, but I would love to accompany you sometime for sure...!

Of course not! [ Sonia's practically beaming too, so this is okay. ] I would love to spend more time with you, after all.

How exciting...! We can make a girl's day of it~ Pamper ourselves after a long mission!

Ah! Should I ask some others as well? That would be really nice to get together and do, I think.

Oh, that would be lovely! Do you think they would enjoy it?

Of course! Who would not enjoy the warmth of the hot springs with our company?

[ Her hands clasp together under her chin. ]

I can't say I know all of the women in our team, but the ones that come to mind are Nami, Fiona, Riza... Oh, Aqua and of course, Lucina, would have to come.

I am afraid I do not know Fiona, but the others are all people I could ask. Are you very good friends with Lucina too, then?

[ Look neither of them have mentioned it to her yet nor has she heard it from others as she hasn't talked about either of them... ]

[ she giggles a little nervously. ]

Gosh, well... I hope so... Though I suppose some might find it weird to be good friends with your daughter...

[ There's a long pause for a moment as Sonia tries to work out if she really did know this or not, but she can't remember being surprised as she is right now. ]

But you are so young?!

[ oh. ]

Forgive me, I should have clarified... [ at this point, it's just become something almost natural for olivia now. she very often forgets it isn't quite so natural for others. ] She is my daughter from the future... We are only a year or so apart as we are right now.

Please, there is nothing to forgive you for... I just truly had no idea. No wonder she is such a lovely person however, with you as a mother.

[ More compliments... all the compliments. ] Is it strange to have that connection here?

It... was startling, at first. [ she is rather aware that lucina could hear this at any moment, but she had also been quite bad at lying. ]

But now that she is here, I cannot imagine my time here without her.

I imagine, but I am delighted to hear it. Both of you are such wonderful people, I can see how Lucina became such a good person -- I imagine you were an amazing influence on her.

[ her smile wavers a bit around its edges, but thankfully the audio function shows none of that. ]

...yes. I hope so.

[ but thoughts of a bleak future is not the sort of thing one should consider in a time meant for renewal and hope. and so she mentally shakes herself, and plows on. ]

[ She doesn't know Olivia wasn't there as much though she does know about the state of Lucina's world. They'd shared that secret to one another at the ball, with Sonia admitting that things were worse for her than she ever wishes to tell people. She hadn't gone further than that--it was enough for a party. ]
