Greetings, Audentes. It is I, Sieglinde Sullivan- also known as the Green Witch. I am sure you are occupied with your own matters during this valuable personal time, but I must interrupt for three announcements, if you might lend me your ear.

The first is that Date Masamune, one lord of Oushuu, has been transferred to a different team. I know that not many of you have been with us since Chantes, but he was a valuable team member, and he will surely be missed.

[By her, perhaps most of all, but she manages to keep a straight face, hastily moving on.]

The second is that it has come to my attention some of our members come from worlds where literacy is not as prominent. Access to book learning is one of the most important aspects of an education, so I shall be using some of my time here in Oska to improve this situation. I am able to instruct in multiple languages, but I shall be focusing primarily on what many worlds call English, as I found it the most useful for communication during the period when our translators were defective. You may join open sessions in the castle library each day from an hour past noon.

On that note, thirdly, I need your assistance with one of those new pupils. As much as I prefer to work alone, I am afraid this issue deals with a delicate combination of spellcraft and science, and so I shall be opening up this project to others of like intellect hopefully differing experience. Graham, if you would like to say a few words?

[She reaches forward to turn her magitech brooch. revealing a certain rugged Huntsman. Said huntsman, for his part, was listening. Which explains why his first word seems more relevant to her second announcement than her third.] ...Pupil? [He's aware that means student, and feels as if he might have to explain to Sieglinde he can indeed read and write... though perhaps his handwriting leaves something to be desired...

That can be a conversation for another time, however. There's more important matters at hand to discuss now.]

Those of you present in Perdition's Rest might recall, I have been heartless for a long time. I've asked Sieglinde to help me try and find some kind of solution, though it occurred to me the secrecy didn't aide in finding a solution. [Talking to Koltira had reminded him of how much more he could do. He owed it to himself, and perhaps those who cared about him and wanted to connect to him better, to do all he could instead of asking Sieglinde to do it for him.] If you think you might be able to lend aide, or have any questions about my condition, I'm here to answer them. Even if there's no perfect solution, I'd ... I'd like to feel things, again.

[Feel things properly is perhaps the better way of putting it, but considering this is a great deal more than Graham tends to talk already, he nods and indicates that's all he has to say, and Sieglinde takes back the video.]

How anyone capable of lending a productive hand could deny such a sincere appeal I do not know. I have seen we have new recruits among us, so we look forward to hearing from you if you have experience with medical surgery, curses, or other magics.

I thought it strange as well, but it seems his world has a more... how to say, "fantastical" approach to magic than I am familiar with, as obviously, the loss of the heart as an organ should not have anything to do with one's emotional capacity.

Still, if you would like to put something together I shall gladly look it over.

I would not say they are completely separate, as it is the electricity that pumps into the heart that alters emotions. Fast and rapid can be scared or excited. Slow can be sad or relaxed. They go hand in hand.

I shall try and recall what I was told when I originally woke up, as it may be that there is possible technology that could "trick" his body, so to speak. Or there may even be something that does not need to be a real organ that could act as a replacement too.

I am no heart surgeon, but I have studied enough medicine to understand any medical diaries that may be present.

[ Plus, it gives her something else to do as well. ]

Our entire nervous system runs similar to electricity, that is what I mean. That is why we have defibrillators for when the heart fails.

[ Though she knows bits and pieces about what happened to Graham because of their previous conversation. She's been through something very similar, so she can understand it. ]

I am well aware of where the section is, you need not worry about that. I have already visited that area for a spot of light reading.

We are short on technology for actual medicine that is not related to magic here, however. I had asked Momo to see if she could make items for us to use but... I am afraid I think she was transferred recently as well.

There is a medical section of Oska that was not here when I first was recruited- there is a possibility it can be made use of.

I have actually looked into that as well, but most of the equipment is for analysis and that cannot be specified in the ways I am used to seeing. Taking blood samples doesn't seem possible, for example. It also does not seem possible to use the technology there to work on another patient. From what I understand of it, anyway...

If it is that sort of equipment, I have it already.

[A slightly outdated version of it than Sonia is likely used to, but. She has the tools for drawing blood and running her experiments, cobbled together from rewards and various worlds they've visited.]

You do? [ She looks surprised, but maybe she shouldn't given what she's heard on here. ]

It is more to check there are no other differences other than what we already know... have you already ran the tests as it may not be necessary for me to repeat them if that is the case.

I can make my blood tests available for your review. That should allow you to determine if there is something you wished to check I have not already.

I would appreciate it, thank you Sieglinde. I would like to see the different levels of erythrocytes, leukocytes, thrombocytes and plasma in his blood as well. If any transplant was to occur-- [ Because there have been mentions of it ] --he would need to have certain levels for it to be deemed "safe". I will have to double check what those levels are, however.

[ It feels weird slipping back into this but it helps her feel as though her years of study wasn't wasted after all. Her level is no where near what Mikan's was, but she was the Ultimate Nurse, of course it wouldn't be. ]

Graham seems most opposed to any actual transplant, or I would simply ask one of the immortals on our team to lend an organ... but feel free to examine what you would like.

[She doesn't know them by the names Sonia uses, seeing as she'd learned her biochem through a magical lens, but. The blood results are hers for the looking.]

Understandable, it would not be his own for one thing. There are stranger things that have happened in my world, however, so something there may work though I am not sure without going over the details myself.

[ Her mind was altered to become obsessed with despair, anyway. It's hard for her to say right away if it will be of any help at all, but she's been through a similar enough experience that she's willing to try and research as much as she can as well. ]

Well, that is the case with... most transplants. He shall need come to a choice, I suppose.

True, though there has also been research into using technology in place of a living organ. Though that is quite probable. I cannot imagine there will be many options available.

Yes, similar in mechanics to that.

[ They might be, but his body would be x10 less likely to reject it than even an immortal's heart. The blood type, the donor information all has to match up or he might just die on the operating table. At least that's what she's thinking of with this. What are the chances someone else on the crew will match? ]
