A friend of mine is here and, while I'm very glad he's here, honestly his presence is a stronger motivation to find a way home than it would be if I were on my own.

She'd make the most of it, of course. She'd make friends and try to inspire everyone to get along and work together and she'd really believe they were here for some greater purpose, but she'd miss her home and her friends and he h a t e s that that's something that matters to him, and that this person had to go and ruin the hypothetical for him.

There'd be more than just ashes, but I suppose. I've little to cross off my bucket list, so I've plenty of time to think about how I'd like to go, when it happens. There are a few alternatives I'd settle for, but that still involves me staying alive at least until I can get home again.
