[Fiona is a little out of breath, like she just hustled very quickly away from somewhere. Which she did, but that's neither here nor there. The background behind her is some innocuous wood panelling; she's in a house.]

Okay. So. Crunch time. Things are getting nuts out there, if you didn't notice. We are gonna wind up super screwed if we don't hop to figuring out what the hell to do.

[She holds up a vial. It has some alien writing on it, as well as a familiar symbol on the label.]

We found this inside the hospital. A shit-ton of them, actually. So who wants to find out what Zymandis asshole is responsible for this mess and beat an antidote out of them?

Yeah. The ones we ran into? They're basically these alien parasites that live in people's bodies. They'd rather die than tell us anythin' useful. So squeezing info? Probably not gonna happen.

But vaccines for other stuff! Otherwise they wouldn't just leave the needles in in the trash, would they...?

That much, I'm gonna leave our brainiacs to figure out until we got more clues. Frankly, I think we'd be better off focusing on comin' up with our own cure an' takin' out whatever members of Zymandis might be here.

Surely is. The ones we ran into were a real devoted bunch. I figure most of 'em are probably gonna be similar enough.

But, what about the people they're possessing? Are they... They're... still alive?

[Ah, this is a tough subject.]

Yeah, they are. There were a few hosts that survived, after a lot of healing done by people like Olivia. But they weren't the same people. They were a blank slate. Better than nothin', I guess.

I dunno that these are gonna be taraxa again. But it's Zymandis, an' that's enough to be concerned by.

[That's awful.] Maybe... we can jog their memories? Help them be their old selves again?

[She's seriously out of the loop] The taraxa... they're different from Zymandis?

Even if that's the case, that's out of our hands. It ain't like we know them, but for all intents and purposes, it seemed like a permanent amnesia scenario. In any case, only a small portion of 'em lived. That's the reality of it.

Depends. The members of Zymandis we ran into jus' happened to be taraxa, the alien parasites I mentioned. I expect there are other members of Zymandis from other worlds, not unlike us. So who knows who, exactly, we're dealin' with? In any case, they ain't a reasonable sort.

Where are they now? [maybe, if she channels the dead ones, they can find a way to help them...]

Thus far, and no they definitely did not. They're zealots; they're pretty dedicated to their cause.

It was an honest question. [Since that's exactly what happened from a few people, but... well, he'll refrain from mentioning it.] Some people did the beat down and didn't get much. Your heart's in the right place, but I honestly think we might have to take a harsher route. But I guess we'll see, either way.

[Ah, that warms his heart a little bit, actually. Maya is enthusiastic, but earnest and sincere.]

At the very least, we're tryin' to keep time and space healthy, in as much as I understand it. Dunno if that answers your question.

[Regarding Koltira...] He's pretty intense, but he's not wrong either. Zymandis is at odds with ALASTAIR, which means they're definitely at odds with us. The way I see it, their goal is just to destroy the timeline. Our job's to stop them.

But... we don't really know much about them, do we? I mean, I'm sure they're bad dudes. maybe talking to them won't be enough. But.... we don't have to jump straight to murder, do we? Isn't there something else we can do?

I don't think we got a timejail, but that might be worth askin' Lloyd and the cats.

No, I suppose they don't, but I think what's important to consider is that we do everything we can to stop them. I can't say that there's much talkin' sense into a nut that decides to develop a virus to make people like this, or tryin' to destroy timelines.

But that's also up to the rest of the team. Majority rules in this decision, I figure.

[Maya's idealistic and optimistic, maybe to a fault, but she isn't stupid. A person like that... definitely can't be reasoned with] Probably not. But.... if they're alien parasites, then we can get rid of the parasites and free the hosts. Or... I dunno, we could take away all their technology... or... something. So they can't hurt people.
