Okay. So. Crunch time. Things are getting nuts out there, if you didn't notice. We are gonna wind up super screwed if we don't hop to figuring out what the hell to do.

We found this inside the hospital. A shit-ton of them, actually. So who wants to find out what Zymandis asshole is responsible for this mess and beat an antidote out of them?

I don't think it's that complicated, though. They wanna raise as much hell as possible here, right? Makes sense to have as many not-zombies on hand to get people sick whenever they want.

If you want to raise hell, you'd lure them out where they can freely spread the plague. That they're keeping them semi-confined and fed makes me think they're waiting for something.

Waiting for what, do you think, Anakin-san? Perhaps they need an insurance policy against us coming after them again. We were willing to kill the Taraxa because there was no hope, but how many people, in good faith, will kill the infected indiscriminately while a cure might still be viable?

[ anakin doesn't answer how many would be against it. he does not need to; they've made their opinion known often and loudly as has the contingent that would rather eliminate the problem regardless of the method.

if one of the infected attacks and cannot be subdued, anakin won't hesitate to shoot it. but that doesn't mean the idea of sweeping the town for them in order to kill them sits well with him. they're sick, not wrong or evil. ]

Indiscriminate slaughter isn't an option, [ he offers instead. ] Otherwise we're no better. I don't want to make any assumptions, not without going back to check. Maybe I can find something else.

I hope it doesn't come down to us fighting our own to keep the peace, but I can't help wondering if that may be part of Zymandis's plan here. It's difficult to say right now.
