[Fiona is a little out of breath, like she just hustled very quickly away from somewhere. Which she did, but that's neither here nor there. The background behind her is some innocuous wood panelling; she's in a house.]

Okay. So. Crunch time. Things are getting nuts out there, if you didn't notice. We are gonna wind up super screwed if we don't hop to figuring out what the hell to do.

[She holds up a vial. It has some alien writing on it, as well as a familiar symbol on the label.]

We found this inside the hospital. A shit-ton of them, actually. So who wants to find out what Zymandis asshole is responsible for this mess and beat an antidote out of them?

[ People are getting turned into something they never wanted to become, others are dying, the town is in a state of panic... It's entirely possible that things will never go back to normal. ]

I'm sure we all wish that. [Her lips twist up briefly.] But these sort of circumstances is where it matters most.

[Easy for her to say, of course; these circumstances have been her bread and butter of late. Presumably it's different for Dipper, who spends his summers staying with family rather than gunning down people in back alleys.]

... Yeah. But I guess I should be used to it by now. All of our missions have kinda been like this.

[ Partly out of necessity, really, but Dipper would say he's already faced his fair share of mortal peril and risky situations. Heck, it's not even his first encounter with zombies. He's got this, Riza. He's got this.

Still, Dipper glances off, mouth twisting in uncertainty. ]

I don't know about that. [ That he shouldn't have to be. ] If we have to do what it takes while we're here, shouldn't we accept that there's some things we gotta expect?

[ Like knowing there are groups out there willing to do these awful things to fulfill their own agendas? And it's going to keep happening, over and over and over... ]

Oh. [ OH... right... dogs find everything, don't they. ] ... Yeah! Yeah, it was. Obscene amounts of popcorn is mandatory for movie nights. Your stomach always hates you for it but it's so worth it.

[That doesn't sound worth it to her.....but she's also never experienced a true movie night. (Or any movie night, really.)]

Then we better get everything here straightened out so you and Lancer can have another one.

Yeah. That's what I want to do, but who knows where we have to go from here.

[ Everyone's got their own ideas, if the large amounts of discussions happening already is anything to go by. ]

[For all his youthful innocence, Dipper's intuition is still one she trusts more than others.]

That... that's hard.

[ He's tentative about calling any kind of shots, especially when there are others likely more experienced than him when it comes to strategic movement. But he does have his own ideas, however minor they may be. ]

Finding Percy's our main objective at this point, of course, but we don't have any leads to his whereabouts—besides the sewers, which is worth combing over again, though we can't assume he'd be stupid enough to stick around after this. I will seriously eat my own hat if they haven't noticed ALASTAIR agents sneaking around by now. Since they've already accomplished what they wanted—y'know, spreading a highly contagious alien virus—we can't rule out that Percy isn't even in the city anymore...

[ Which would be the worst case scenario, because who knows if Audentes could successfully do the same and break out for the sake of pursuit. ]

... But let's hope not. Chapman and Wong may be unwitting accomplices, but they still worked with Percy, so I'd say talking to them is still worth possibly something. Preferably someone not working in the hospital—they can't risk their positions being able to stick around on the inside, but you're not losing much if, say, someone like me interrogated them too much for their liking. Right? Um, so... I just can't accept they don't know anything just because they're not Zymandis.
