Okay. So. Crunch time. Things are getting nuts out there, if you didn't notice. We are gonna wind up super screwed if we don't hop to figuring out what the hell to do.

[She holds up a vial. It has some alien writing on it, as well as a familiar symbol on the label.]

We found this inside the hospital. A shit-ton of them, actually. So who wants to find out what Zymandis asshole is responsible for this mess and beat an antidote out of them?

People died in Perdition's Rest because they had slugs in their goddamn brains and we had no choice. Not because we tried beating a cure out of someone. You idiot. This is a manmade virus and manmade viruses are made by scientists. If none of you can figure out a cure, I'm going to the source.

Bullshit. We had a choice. We could have tried to help innocent people, and instead we abused them to get at the parasites inside them to "talk". And that's if they weren't killed on sight for an infection they didn't ask for.

You do know what this organization wants, don't you? They seek abnormalities in the timeline to destroy, not save. Why would they make a cure if they want this entire world to end? That's counter-intuitive to their goal.

Were... we on totally different missions? Who abused --? [Alright, whatever, he's still talking.] Because! What if he accidentally infects himself? Or-- he's a doctor or a scientist or whatever, but the point is, if he knows what the virus is, he'll be able to make an antidote.

That's a whole lot of speculation.

Bristol only affects humans. Chances are good that this is an alien lifeform, they probably aren't even affected by it. It'd be sort of stupid to send one to a situation like this one. And while I'm at it, burn the world types probably aren't super caught up on collateral damage.

( he scrubs at his forehead. ) All I'm saying is we can't count on answers. We didn't get any last time, and the mission suffered because of it.
