video; un: fiona

[Fiona is a little out of breath, like she just hustled very quickly away from somewhere. Which she did, but that's neither here nor there. The background behind her is some innocuous wood panelling; she's in a house.]

Okay. So. Crunch time. Things are getting nuts out there, if you didn't notice. We are gonna wind up super screwed if we don't hop to figuring out what the hell to do.

[She holds up a vial. It has some alien writing on it, as well as a familiar symbol on the label.]

We found this inside the hospital. A shit-ton of them, actually. So who wants to find out what Zymandis asshole is responsible for this mess and beat an antidote out of them?

[ ooc. PS, maya, hanzo, and mccree might show up in your threads. feel free to threadjack as well! ]

You weren't against saving the Deemers on Perdition's Rest once we learned the truth. We don't know that this isn't a doctor infested by a taraxa. And we can't assume that it isn't just because you want to kill the slug inside of his head.

Don't go against your better nature just to be right.

Either way, it's a good thing that you're not the only person on this team. It's pretty big ... and I've learned to deal with that. Don't just go throw your weight around just because you can probably knock more than half of us on our butts easily.
respired: i've been breaking mine for you (while you've been saving your name)

[ Koltira is quietly confident that he could easily overpower significantly more than half of the team--he's nearly killed a fair few of them as it stands--but he's not going to address that. Of his many faults, arrogance is not among them; he simply knows what he is. What he was made to do. ]

Zymandis is not comprised solely of Taraxan agents. To think so is folly, and contradictory to our actual experience.

[ He shakes his head. ]

I do not do anything to be right. I do what I always have done--what the living cannot. I do what is necessary.

Our "actual" experience? We've fought them once. In this case, having a Taraxa in a doctor's head just makes sense.

[He sighs, frustrated. How else would the doctor be able to be so effective in hurting this city's population?

He goes on:]

What you think is necessary is gonna be different from other people. It doesn't matter what we are. Alive. Dead. Paladins. Or even a leopard like Belore. We're gonna have different ideas.

Yes. A great battle for the town, in which a number of agents emerged from the wrecks of their ships--humanoid in form, but not Qorral. Not Taraxa. It is more reasonable to assume they are as diverse as we are, if not more so.

[ His first thought: Belore is a wild animal; her opinions would be even more vicious than his own. Probably not Keith's point, though. ]

That is clear.

We can't rule it out just because you want to kill someone before we get answers. That's my point.
respired: so let's dim the lights (just can't look you in the eyes)

[ Yeah, all right. Maybe so. ]

We will get answers, then. Such as time permits.

[ but after that, percy's gotta die. ]
