[Jhin doesn't seem interested in giving a proper introduction, merely getting straight to the point of why he's making this post.]

Now that everyone's had some time to relax, I'd say it's as good a time as any to get to know each other a bit better. We're all supposed to be a team and yet it's not particularly difficult to simply avoid contact with each other. While I am certain that does have its benefits, I imagine at least knowing who your teammates are, is as equally beneficial.

As such, Peter and I have decided to host a little... party of sorts. There will be team building activities if that's your thing, or simply come learn everyone's names if you're so inclined. Though I'm certain no one will judge you if you merely choose to show up for the food.

[People are probably pretty tired of seeing Parker's face at this point, but sucks for them, because here it is again.]

Our kitty-hosts gave us the go ahead, so, we might as well use our downtime for something productive. After all is said and done, we thought we'd utilize out newfound team skills in a game of Capture the Flag, basically. It's worth a shot, right? So... let us know if you have questions, or ... you think you'd want to come.

I mean, I helped Stiles look for you back in Woodhurst...

[Which is also kind of creepy. Wylan can't imagine that Peter wants to remember much of Woodhurst.]

Peter does seem evasive, when both Stiles and Woodhurst is mentioned. as much as he tries to avoid reminders of what happened there, it's sort of impossible. )

( KIND OF??? he sighs, but he's supposed to be trying honesty on for a size. clearly holding onto his secrets didn't get him anywhere in woodhurst. )

I locked myself in a sewer maintenance room. I wasn't really thinking that clearly at the time, so I can't say I suggest it.

No, but I think I can understand why you did it.

Yeah? Why's that?

( Peter knows Stiles warned the team about what he was capable of... even in as vague a terms as he could manage. he just wonders if there's another reason it could be understood. )

[Wylan doesn't have an special insight into Peter's actions, but he knows why he would have done something like that. He'd thought of what he would have done if he'd become infected, knows that he would have wanted to be far away from anyone he could hurt.]

You wanted to keep people safe, right? If you stayed away, then there was no chance you'd hurt anyone.

I did, but I wanted to keep my secrets safe, too.

( and if he could go back, if he could change it, Peter would have been honest and asked for help over trying to protect his secrets. it's too late now, but he has to hope at least he's learned from it. )

It was a nice idea in theory, not so much in execution.

Most people can understand that too. I mean, everyone has secrets.

I guess that's true. Usually they're a little less dangerous, though.
