I believe it is magic, yes. Where I'm from magic is a rare occurrence.

I'm not exactly sure how it works either. Sorry I can't be of much help.

No. It is why I asked.

What kind of magic exists in your world?

I see.

In my world there's a special type of resurrection magic. It's rare and difficult to comprehend.

I don't know too much about it myself.

Are people born with it, or can anyone learn?

I don't think just anyone can learn.

You have to have the potential for it just like any other skill.

[Not everyone can do math or arts, the same for magic.]

A talent, or a gene you are born with?

A talent.

Somehow I don't think genes have anything to do with it. Plenty of people here have learned spells without prior experience.

[So that's what he thinks anyways.]

That is unheard of where I am from. You can learn to build special tools, but you cannot be special unless you are born into it.

Or come into it by an accident that is difficult to replicate.

That makes sense. Magic isn't easy to come by is it?

It sounds like a rare ability in your world.

It is, and not well understood. So I want to be sure of it.

Do you think that magic should be used even if so few people understand it?

It will be used regardless. It is the nature of people to use what they possess.

I can agree with that. Even keeping that in mind, magic should be used responsibly.

One time I read that misusing it could cost you your life.

[scarletcast]

I am not surprised. If it is as powerful and varied as I've heard, it is as dangerous.
