[voice; un: METTATON]
Morning, darlings. No, this isn't a call to share, not quite yet.
There wouldn't happen to be any healers capable of mending broken bones on the team, would there? Dearest George has hurt himself and, instead of doing the reasonable thing and seeking help from his team, he's decided it's much more effective to lumber around with the enemy.
This won't do. You all know why.
So. If anyone would please do him a favor and take care of that? And take HIM away from his current company. Thank you.
Just as an interesting little side-note, it seems our blue friend hasn't the foggiest about her own team's exploits when it comes to ALASTAIR. Just thought that was fascinating.

[He loves you Mettaton, but not that much.]

Besides! Who said anything about KIDNAPPING? We're on the same team! Consider it a light reshuffling of the group. Wouldn't George be much better off with a healer or someone he ISN'T making googoo eyes at?

I don't think forcing him is going to get you what you want here.
no subject
He can be mad at me all he wants when we get back to Oska. Until then, we can't afford to trust him on the lone fact that it might hurt his feelings.
no subject
[Is he projecting? Maybe a little.]
Look, I don't think she's a bad person, but if you're right then there must be some way to prove that. No lie's perfect.
no subject
It is not about proving things, Oliver. By all mean! Go speak to her. Convince her to join our side. She's ignorant about her own group - maybe she doesn't realize how awful they are!!
But they cannot stay together. We're putting everything at risk because we're too afraid to tell our own teammate he shouldn't be nurturing a crush on an assassin honor-bound to a group who has tried to kill us multiple times. This is about being LOGICAL.

George spends like all his time with her. Hung up on her or not, if anyone's going to see red flags it's him. If you try and force him away from her he's going to want to see good in her even more than he does already, and if you're right then she's not going to have any reason to pretend to be on our side anymore.

2) The only reason she'd be needing to pretend is for her own protection. It's 80 against 1. I cannot care less how she handles the news that the people HER people have tormented do not trust her.

[He sounds tired. He's annoyed right now, but Mettaton's his friend and he's better than he thinks he is.]
Distrust her if you want to, but you need to have more respect for George.
no subject
Sigh.]
I'll be sure to do that once he earns it.

If you can't trust someone to make a decision that won't hurt their entire team, none the less the entire multiverse, you do not let them.
Do you really want to gamble your own home because George deserves his cute little crush?
no subject
I don't think the consequences are as dire as you're making them out to be.
no subject
And if he decides he'd rather stay with her instead of coming back to us and give Zymandis all of our information? All he'd need is her.
How do you propose stopping that?

[Which still doesn't really answer his question.]

I've done my fair share of hanging around programmers, Oliver. Isn't the "what if" essential to making the code?
"What if" he decides she's more important than us?
no subject
If he does that still doesn't mean she's against us. If he does and she is we'll deal with that.
But "what if" goes both ways. What if she decides George is more important to her than Zymandis?
Either way, we're more likely to get a good outcome by being nice to her until we find a reason not to be.
no subject
If he does. And she does. How are we going to deal with it?
no subject
[So there's his reason for dodging if Mettaton was wondering.]
Then it might be a good idea to start considering kidnapping.
