Bigger than most small spaceships, but smaller than anything like a barge.

Red and Green are the smallest ones. Blue and Yellow are big, but Black is the biggest.

[None of that helps, probably. He makes an aggravated sound on his end that doesn't really translate over.]

Ten thousand years ago, a guy named Zarkon started taking over the entire universe.

[It's more complicated than that. Apparently Zarkon is immortal via some weird space energy? Space energy that's been contaminated? Maybe?

All those question marks mean Keith thinks it's better to ... not mention it.]

He was alive until recently. His empire was built around him. Lots of people were made subservient to him. He thought he had a claim on everything.

Voltron's the only weapon strong enough to stop him. And stop his empire.

We put him down, but there's a lot of things ahead of us. We still need to free all the different planets and galaxy from their hold.

It's going to take a while.

19. Almost 20.

I was 18 when I joined Voltron. Most of the team is a little younger than that.

The lions were created by an alien race called the Alteans on Altea. Altea is gone, and only two Alteans remain. Or three. [#complicated]

The two Alteans are working with us. And one is now a paladin of Voltron. She pilots Blue. The three other pilots are human. I THOUGHT I was human, but I'm only part human. I think.

We started out with four humans and me, though.
