Do not mistake me. I do not intend to slander Hathaway's dossier. If it were to include all manners, it would be too long to even attempt to read.

Clarice. [ that's, like. the only thing she can say confidently right now, lol. ] As for plans... I honestly don't have any? Help, I guess, but I mean — we're all here to help, so.

[ she makes a vague, frustrated gesture with her hand that hayame can't see. ]

I need to be able to get to places. I don't know if it'll be useful, but my powers — I can create portals that can take people to and from places, but they only work well if I know where I'm going. So I need to have been there before.

That gives her something to think about, at least. But if this place is as similar to her own world as it seems so far... there really isn't a job she can think of that can go anywhere. Even a messenger, who would travel place to place... they wouldn't get past the first room.]

Considering our mission, it would likely be best to have access to the inner palace in case of an emergency...

But that is near impossible to gain access to. Even courtiers who have served for years rarely reach a rank that allows them to see the emperor and empress from anything but the courtyards or the audience halls.
