So, as it turns out, you probably really, really shouldn't be lookin' for our local angry dead elf guy.
Not that I was lookin', but he's out there and not doin' too great.
Anyway. Point is, if you need a drink, I'm feelin' generous enough to buy. Swing by, if you're feelin' it.
Oh yeah, Pete. Got your horse. Come get it, whenever.

...He did drain my magic. Hoping it's not permanent.

I wish I knew how to help with that. I really do. I hear from around the block this has happened before, so maybe someone else could tell you if it'll come back.

[More than he can really said, it completely discomforts him. The injuries less so, but having his magic stolen is a first.
And it was alarmingly painful. Personal.]
Anyway, don't worry about it. You want your horse?
no subject
he can't help with the idea of an undead elf sucking out magical powers, he just can't. as much as he'd like to.
he can see a subject change when one is tossed in his direction, though, so he'll take it and not push too hard in the other direction. )
Yeah, I do. Was it hard to get?
no subject
Wasn't expectin' the sudden company is all.
no subject
I don't get it, if this is the second time this has happened, why hasn't anyone done something about it? Having a team member that has lost control and hurt other members of the team, not once but twice... that's a problem.
( a big problem, actually. )
no subject
You would think, though, that someone else would'a piped up. But we can't change that now.
no subject
still, maybe that's not a popular opinion to voice, and he wisely keeps it to himself. )
I'm glad you're okay, for what it's worth. And I can pick up the horse whenever works for you.
no subject
Hey, not like I'm goin' anywhere. I'll be in the saloon.
action???
Never did I ever think I'd be showing up at a space saloon to pick up a metal horse, but here I am.
( life throws ya curveballs, it seems!! )
ACTION!!!
Some might even call that a twist of fate.
[hahaha please stop him]
I got her in the stables just fine. Been keeping an eye on her. [How he's doing that from the saloon is a good question.]
no subject
Might not be my name, but let me tell you, my fate got super twisted. Twisted and complicated. Practically a web...
( no reason for that symbolism, promise, hahahaha, moving on!!! )
He hasn't escaped, has he? I found that out the hard way, they're hard-wired to head home. Literally. Since, you know, they're programmed to.
no subject
But Peter's grown up, and that doesn't really hold over anything right now.]
Nah. I got him roped up, just in case. Can't promise he's complacent when you get to him, though.
no subject
still, he's better at keeping that to himself now, with age. )
Great, an ornery one, huh? Still, man, thanks. I promised a reward, you interested in a tricked-out steed?

It'll take me a day or two, maybe, but then I'll bring her along the saloon. Any color preferences? Fire red, alien green... wait, is alien green an offensive color name here?
( maybe... whoops )
no subject
Definitely a fan of red. Red and black, if y'can.
no subject
( in the meantime, he offers a hand and a grin. )
Thanks for the help, man.
( he really hopes he can figure something out about the bandit movement patterns from his tracker, and if he can't... well, it's been a way to keep him busy, at the very least. )
