[ Really, she had hoped to get her thoughts out about this sooner, but there are things she wants to Address and get people to think about now that it seems like a new year is upon them. It makes sense after the Christmas/Yule w/e celebrations that had taken place. For any that may know her though, she definitely seems very upbeat today. ]

Good day, everyone. [ It's the first time she's actually addressed the magitek like this though, which is why she tries to keep as formal as possible from the get go. ] My name is Sonia Nevermind, some of you may know me, others may not -- if that is the case, it is a pleasure to meet you now.

I was wondering... is it common for people of your worlds to make New Years Resolutions? This is where you make promises or goals for yourself for the new year.

For me, this year I hope to get stronger, so I may protect those I care about. I wish to learn more about medicine, to ensure that those with healing skills are not tiring themselves out. [ She's ticking these off with her fingers as she goes. ] I wish... to be more honest, about past instances that were beyond my control... but I feel are important to share with friends. I wish to spend more time with others, and learn more about the different cultures and languages we have within our team. If you were to consider this now... what would you choose?

Also, as we have been in good spirits recently, I also hoped we may try to get to know one another better with a game? There is one called "2 truths 1 lie", I believe, where we share two pieces of information that are "real" along with one piece of information that is a lie. As I understand, this is a hella good game to bond. For example: "I can speak 30 languages." "I have got a sister." "I can pilot a helicopter." Which one is incorrect?

There are actually around 6,500 spoken languages in the world, though for many of them less than 1,000 people speak the language.

So that is incorrect, I apologise-- [ Why is she saying sorry?! ] --but I am able to speak 30 languages as it is necessary for a Princess of Novoselic Kingdom to learn that many.

Okay, well. You said you're a princess. Princesses usually had a bunch of siblings, right? That's a thing? In case one of them, um. You know. [ Died gruesomely... ] So, I'm gonna say the helicopter thing is a lie. Don't princesses just ride horses or in carriages or something?

I know a little... I suppose? [ Modest, despite saying all of this. ]

Though actually, that is incorrect. [ Her mouth twitches into a small smile. ] While I am able to ride a horse as well, carriages are very outdated. I am able to drive a car without any problems. I can also pilot a helicopter, plane and drive a tank.

[ a ... tank. yes. ]

Why... why do you know how to drive a tank, exactly?

[ Ah... well. ]

In my country even elementary students are given a course on warfare... we are taught the mechanics behind operating heavy weaponry.

So I have been told. [ Her smile strains even more. ] However... in some ways it is necessary in my country.

Do you live in one of those places where babies have to learn to shoot guns because everybody else is shooting guns? I've been to one of those.

[ Not that... he saw any actual babies with guns, he's just assuming. ]

Babies?! [ She looks startled at that, at least. ] No, we start learning in grade school... not when we are that young.

Oh, my god, that's basically a baby. When I was in grade school, I just had to learn how to ride a bike. Which I... did not. [ He's not athletic. ]

...You did not? [ She looks surprised, even if she learned much more crazy things and Not A Bike Either. ]

Though as much as it pains me to admit it... there have been terrorist attacks and other countries have tried attacking us as well, yes.

Oh. [ Yikes times yikes, yikes squared. ] Umm. Where I live, it's just kind of an 'every man for himself' thing, sooo there aren't any countries attacking each other or anything. [ He raises his hands, sort of weakly raising the roof. ] Lawless wasteland perks, yaaay.

Haha. Wow. That isss... not at all what I imagined princesses did. Do you even own one unicorn.

[ He's kidding, but would he be surprised if she owned one at this point, tho. ]

Exactamente! [ She just thinks he's agreeing with her... nvm. ]

Though um... I believe it may be different in my country compared to others. I do not own a unicorn, which is a shame.

[ She shifts for a moment, then he'll see two hamsters pop up on her shoulders. One is a fat golden hamster, the other a mix of white and brown/beige colours. ] I do have these hamsters with me, however! They were not originally mine, but I am taking care of them.

[ That wasn't his point but okay. okay. ]

[ His exact thought is that this is a particularly impressive example of completely missing the point. He pauses for a moment, brow furrowed, trying to figure out how to respond to something like this. ]

Whoosh. That's the, uh. The sound of the point... [ This feels mean, though, so he clears his throat, abruptly changing course. ] Sooo, anyway, what are their names. Your hamsters.

[ She believes in a lot of weird things okay... so of course she's going to roll with it. Thankfully, she doesn't even notice it might be a little mean and instead focuses on the hamsters as well. ]

This one is Cham-P. [ She gives the golden fatty a tiny headrub. ] And this is San-D. [ Then it's the other's turn for a quick rub as well. They seem to scamper closer though, trying to get more attention. ] Together with two others that are not with me, they complete the Four Dark Devas of Destruction.

Skip soundcheck? Though I am not the one who named them, I can say that their power is quite phenomenal. Please do not underestimate them.
